DO NOT BUY! I bought one through Amazon July 24, 18 and it failed by in under two years.
It worked fine with a 512 MB Lexar 80X WA compact flash from July 24, 2018 when bought. I have not used it much. It now does not work. I can;t determine why it stopped. I tried different compact flash cards to see if it was a card problem: Lexar 256 16X WA and Nikon Sandisk 32 MB EC-32CF. Checking the company website there is a 3 year warranty on it BUT only if bought directly from Pixelflash. I assume this is because of possible knockoffs sold by other retailers. I am not happy to have paid $44 for this product I needed and can't get warranty for because the upload cable for my Nikon camera bought in 2003 stopped working. I was contacted by the manufacturer and I sent details. Nothing heard so assume I have been blown off. Do not buy! I have contacted ParadiseCA again Dec. 27, 2020 as they still do not respond to customer problems. DO NOT BUY !

Superior!
I've gone through more CF card readers than I'll ever admit, virtually all of them have the same issue; the guide slots are too shallow, which allows the card to go in at an imperfect angle, thereby bending the pins inside the reader.I've tried high-end readers, thinking they would be better designed or built, I've tried dedicated readers, multi-card readers, you name it.This is by far the simplest & thus far foolproof reader yet!If you have to use CF cards, as I do in my photography business, just get this one!

Best Compact Flash reader ever used
This product is a high quality product and is the best compact flash card reader I have ever used. I have used many CF card readers over the years as a professional photographer and this one is built to last. The USB 3.0 connectivity makes for very fast transfer speeds. I hope to use this device for many years to come.

Best External Card Reader!
I have gone threw so many card readers as the pins seem to wear out quickly. The PixelFlash won't let the memory card go in the wrong way which ends up keeping the pins in place. Plus, there is a warranty with it, so no more buying card readers every couple of months! This is it!!!

High Quality but make room
This thing works great, reads fast, transfers fast, never delays for my laptop to pick it up in the drives. But it's really wide, so it takes up almost the entire side of the laptop. I use a blue-tooth mouth and a USB hub, so things would get squirly if I didn't have a USB slot on one of my external drives.
