Brabantia Rectangular Touch Bin, 10 L - Brilliant Steel

Pricey, but very very worth it. Have had it for about 8 months and having such a substantially-made and good-looking bit of kit beside the sink in the kitchen, which opens/closes by a tap on the lid, makes all the difference. As other reviewers have noted, some of us have had lid problems: essentially the fastening-clip doesn't seem to work if it's the slightest bit wet. I emailed Brabantia who sent another lid by return of post almost, so I have one-on and one-in-the-wash (or drying). Or there is a guy on you-tube who solved the problem by drilling (small) air-holes - if you're up to a bit of DIY. The only other thing to say is that you are better to buy oversize bags (swing lid size), but that applies to many bins! And It has made such a huge difference to cooking and washing-up that it's worth 5 stars if you solve the lid problem (which of course may not apply to YOUR purchase in the first place...)

My kitchen is very small and awkwardly shaped and there's just no place a bin can go where it won't be in the way. I've always just kept grocery bags on the floor for food waste and other rubbish - inconvenient, messy, and needs to be taken out every day. This Brabantia is the perfect solution. I love that it's mountable (although I have nowhere to mount it!) and it's very compact. We keep it in a corner in front of some drawers (like I said, nowhere else to put it!) and if I need access to the drawers it's small and light and easy to move out of the way. The fingerprint proof finish is ideal for a kitchen, where you want to avoid any extra cleaning if possible, and the touch lid means it can be easily opened with a foot or elbow if you've got your hands full. At the moment the lid opens very slowly which is slightly frustrating but I'm hoping the mechanism will loosen up slightly with use. The 10 litre size is perfect for a few days' use, and the liners are a very reasonable price and so much better than grocery bags! As with all Brabantia bins, it came with a generous roll of liners. Highly recommended.

Easy to use and keep clean. Use it as a kitchen waste bin. Perfect size for two people.

A great bin - good design and very high quality manufacturing. If you need a small capacity bin then buy this one - you’ll be as pleased as I am. I saw cheaper bins but I decided that they would be a false economy.

I have now returned 5 of these bins because the lids have all broken after less than a month. The bin itself is lovely, perfect size for under the sink which is why I persevered with replacing them in the hope that i would eventually get one that doesn't break. Alas, the last one broke. the problem is the spring loaded catch that opens and closes it - after about a month the spring fails so it's either stuck open or shut.

I really love this bin; it fits perfectly into my small kitchen and it is very elegant. My only worry is that the catch is very delicate and got stuck at one point-it could easily break.

Very good quality bin. The steel is thick and sturdy. Well designed. Note that the lid is black and not satin steel.

I was shocked by the discrepancy between the size of the inner bin and the outer steel container. The inner pull-out bin is identical to the black "built-in bin 10L" bin sold as a separate product for inside kitchen doors. The steel outer is, I guess, about 20L. So just be forewarned that this product looks a certain size but will contain much less. Whilst it's a nice sturdy product, and the lid is well designed, the whole thing seems excessive.

The product was delivered collapsed. Although it was protected by two cardboards inside each other, I cannot be sure when such damage occurred. I doubt it happened during delivery. I think the product was packaged in this damaged state. If a force is applied from the inside to the outside, it may be fixed, but there will still be a mark. I have not yet made a definite decision about replacement or return. But it is definitely VERY ANNOYING for a product that you paid so much money for compared to its equivalents to be delivered damaged in this way!...

Love having the trash up off the floor in the bathroom. It was easy to mount and has more storage capacity that I originally thought.

È troppo definire una pattumiera un oggetto di design? In questo caso forse no, dato che è oggettivamente molto bella e ben fatta oltre che pratica. Vengono forniti anche 3 sacchi su misura e le viti per un eventuale fissaggio a muro. Unico neo: la parte superiore (che si può installare anche nel verso opposto) non si incastra saldamente alla parte inferiore, ma è semplicemente appoggiata. Servizio di consegna di Amazon ineccepibile: consegna in 24 ore e se ci sono problemi (danneggiamenti della merce) vengono automaticamente risolti.

Papelera con acabados de alta calidad,aunque su precio original de más de 90€ es excesivo, yo lo compre por 51€ y es bastante más justo. Ideal para cualquier tipo de baño, ya que estéticamente queda bien con cualquier decoración, el tamaño es ideal para una vivienda de unos 4 habitantes y la tapadera de click es muy práctica ya que te permite ponerlo en cualquier ubicación, ajustando la altura con el enganche opcional para pared.la capacidad es de 10 l y viene con 3 bolsas de regalo, k una vez puestas queda completamente tapada con la tapa. Yo la compré para cambiarla por una de pedal que tenía y el cambio ha sido efecto, tanto por la capacidad como por a comodidad y que en la ubicación donde la tengo era un engorro meter el pie para activar el pedal.

Petit poubelle 10l sympa et beaucoup plus robuste et volumineuse que certaines poubelles plastiques de salle de bain ! Il faut aimer le design métallique mais sinon les clés du succès sont là ! Robuste, volumineuse, couvercle touch qui ferme bien, design agréable et même possibilité de l'accrocher au mur ! Seul le prix (propre à tous les produits Brabantia) vient entacher tout ces points positifs ... quasi 100€ !!! Quand une poubelle de même marque et caractéristiques de 50-60l en vaut environ 120€ on peut se poser des questions !!! Non vraiment, achetés 60€ en seconde main, j'ai toujours l'impression de m'être fait spoiler ! On parle d'une poubelle .... de 10l !!! La marque Brabantia devrait revenir sur terre un peu avec leurs tarifs prohibitifs (je comprend qu'un certain degré de qualité se paye, mais là, trop c'est trop !!!).
