It’s good. Not great
I bought a different one only because this one wouldn’t suction to the bottom of my fish home. I had to put rock on it to keep it down and even then it was a struggle. It’s best for a fish home where u can hide (it’s not pretty)

What does this do?
I thought this was a filter that I could hook up to an aerator to filter the water, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how the physics of that would work now that I’ve put it together. I didn’t do anything to help with the water, it was just a weight, holding down the end of the aerator. Since the aerator came with a stone that fit better and was smaller, I switched back to that and got myself a real filter.

Awesome bubble-powered filter for small tanks.
THIS FILTER IS SAFE FOR FRY!This little product is amazing. It's a little louder than a standard bubble stone, but even with a tiny air pump, it gives plenty of suction through the sponge to take particulate out of the water without creating strong currents. It is a great shrimp/fry filter for small tanks (5.5gal or smaller). And it looks pretty cool too.
