Belongs in the past.
As I grow older, I find myself recalling various things from my younger days that I really enjoyed. This book was one that stuck out in my memory as being such a wonderful work...I even wanted to name my daughter after a character in this book. Alas I never had a daughter.BUT, I have shared this book with a few people and one of them recommended I read it again, so I did. I found myself really disappointed at having done so. It’s not that it’s a horrible book, it’s just nowhere as good as I remember it being and reading it again definitely killed a great memory that I had.

Cute and tragic, edges on philosophical at times
Cute sci-fi novel that is bizarre and tragic. You read about the main character, Mark, who has heart problems and falls for a girl who has a boyfriend. I can't say much more because I'd be giving too much away. A very strange sci-fi thing happens and it's the big event that sets the stage for the rest of the book. Pretty good book, and touching, but I'm not sure I'll read it again.
