The book starts out with an introduction to ASL and how it works, then moves on to teaching me the alphabet, numbers, and simple phrases. The next step in becoming proficient in ASL is to study the vocabulary and grammar of the language in greater depth. However, the inclusion of both text and images is really appreciated. Both the text and the images worked together to enhance the overall experience. The instructions in the text clarified the steps I needed to take with my hands. Overall, this is a terrific resource and beginning point for my ASL education. The print and image quality are very good.

Not meaningfully organized and lacks standard book structure, does not cite any sources of information. Moreover no color photos, except cover, I don't even see a section that discusses expressions. It is unclear who wrote all of the five star reviews for this book. This book is a rip-off. It is written like a 12 year old wrote it for a school project. Whomever published this book had to know how bad it was and so there is no indication of author or publisher.

It was great I used to to convince my girlfriend to bring her sister into the bedroom 😂 it failed BUT SHE UNDERSTOOD THE LANGUAGE

I’ve checked the reviews before buying this book and was a unsure if it’s a good choice .But I see that there are many pictures in the book and all of them a clear enough , alphabet is organized in collage and presented in a nice way with pictures for every letter ,book is written in very nice and well structured manner , especially I like chapters about feelings and QA . I would definitely recommend this book !No regrets for sure 🙂
