2 cup size as mentioned. Looks exactly as shown in picture.Pretreatment: I have pounded raw rice and will do it for few days.Discard pounded rice as it may have some stone granules. Followed by rinsing with water, drying and then then smearing oil over the entire product. Then it will be ready to use.Loving this product already

Great quality ,Performance a bit dissapointing
Am dissapointed with the inside,its flat up to the corner and not rounded, difficult to reach the corners with the pestle which is rounded, otherwise the make is very goodHad the pestle be flat it may work better

Sturdy, solid, heavy and easy to use mortar and pestle
It arrived in excellent condition and looks beautiful. Easy to use and the stone is smooth and yet rough enough to grind with. Very happy.
