This item was ordered early afternoon and arrived just after 10 the next morning. Express delivery that isn't very expensive. Just what you need when you have a painful injury that needs attention. The actual brace is light but very sturdy. I thought it might be a bit of overkill for a case of "skiers thumb" and a sprained wrist but it initially seems to be doing a good job without being obstructive in my daily activities. My worry with other supports was that they may hold the thumb steady but don't protect against accidental knocks. Just touching my thumb really hurts but in the brace I could tap it quite hard with my fist and there was no pain. There is a practical reason why I did this, trust me! The brace doesn't stop me from working (including typing) and I can play tennis wearing it (which is how I damaged my hand in the first place). Overall it seems a very good product and well made, although I obviously haven't had a chance to give it a longer term test.

Highly supportive and well made product. Comes with two removable metal plates which hold either your wrist or thumb in place. There is an adjustable thumb strap to prevent your thumb moving around, if needed, and three good quality velcro style straps which adjust the fit around the wrist and also across the lower palm. I measured 19cm which is inbetween the Large and XL. The sizing said to order the larger of the two which was perfect when it arrived. Finish in the edges of the product is also good with a bearing built into the palm side to ease irritation when worn for long periods. Looking at the picture on the listing, this is a fair example of the product and of how much coverage it will give you.

Very well made with all stitching secure and neat, I use this to protect and immobilise my left thumb due to Scaphoid and ligament injury and it works superbly, it is adjustable in three places on the wrist/arm and another strap securely protects the thumb, this is much better than the one supplied by the physiotherapist as it feels firmer and more durable, it is superb quality at an absolute bargain price considering the work involved in making it, really pleased with this purchase.

This does the job intended - it stops me moving my wrist and thumb (I have tendonitis) - very well. It's lost a star because the sizing guide is not very accurate. According to the guide, I should have bought a large size, but having read the reviews, I got a medium (I'm female, glove size 7 to 7 1/2). The medium fits ok, but I think a small might have been sufficient - there's a lot of spare on the straps.Well made, robust.

This is absolutely amazing!!! I was diagnosed with De Quervain's tenosynovitis by the Dr and told to buy a splint, as soon as i saw this one it just looked perfect, and it had such good reviews. I cant believe how good it feels to be not in pain. I do have small hands so wasn't sure about the medium but fits just fine. The quality seems far superior than something that costs £7.50. The seller was excellent in regards to dealing with an issue with the delivery, very quick to respond. Just wish they made them in pink! :)

The splint works very well. I have De Quervain’s tenosynovitis and had to immobilise my thumb for a couple of weeks and this works very well. It has two metal plates which can be removed if desired. The plates limit movement in the thumb and wrist which is just what I need. It also seems very well made and looks pretty decent too; not that it’s a fashion item. It’s nicely padded, is very comfortable with no irritating seams. I’d definitely recommend it.

Bought to treat De Quervain's syndrome. Adjusted (Bent) the aluminium stay on the thumb side to reduce pressure on wrist. The support is highly adjustable, can be worn all night for immobilisation during sleep and is strong enough for use at work(manual handling) ; the stay from the thumb along the side of the forearm also protects from knocks. Very comfortable and excellent value, this is my second one.
