Not what I expected
Although this product appears to be well made it is not quite what I expected from the Amazon advertisement. It is too narrow (the ad said it was wide) and I constantly have the sensation that I am going to "roll" my ankle as my foot attempts to slide off to the side. It should be made wider and taper up to a shoulder on the edges, so as to keep the foot centered

Biege .5 inch Large Gel
Had surgery which left one leg .5 inch shorter than the other. I was sent to an orthopedic center and had .5 inch lift made at a cost of $60.00 for ONE lift. Medical grade is very stiff and will not fit in some shoes and they are white. I really like my crocs but could not wear them as my medical grade would not fit. I bought these lifts and are very happy. They are slightly curvy on the bottom and fit down in the heel of my croc. The clear bottom lets the black of my croc shine through and the beige cover blends with my skin. More give than medical grade but still very comfy. There was an adhesive on the ones I purchased, so I decided not to remove as I did not want to lose the stickiness. I use the other for my flat style sketchers and it to fits great. I have worn this lift around the house daily for about a week in my crocs and so far, it has remained in place. They may not last as long, but for the price, I am thrilled. I mean seriously $12.00 a pair (2) as opposed to $60.00 for one (1).

My favorite heel lift for slightly short leg
This is the third type of heel lift I've tried and by far my favorite. After a hip replacement, one leg is slightly shorter than the other. A lift in my shoe helps me feel more balanced. This summer I spent most of my time barefoot or wearing flip flops without a lift and I developed painful tendinitis in the heel of my shorter leg. A Dr. Foot lift in my left flip flop saved the day. My other lifts wouldn't stay put in my flip flops. The Dr. Foot lifts are comfortable and cushy with the gel insert, sized for stability, and have adhesive backing which so far sticks in a flip flop most of the time (it will fall out sometimes when I'm in my recliner with feet raised). Some people mention using double stick tape to keep the lifts in place when the adhesive wears off. The lifts also work great in my sneakers and slippers. I rarely wear dress shoes anymore so I can't vouch for their use in snug-heeled leather shoes or pumps/high heels. The lifts came two to a package and are universal facing, NOT right or left facing, so the pair can be used for two left shoes or two right shoes. I'll be buying another pair for winter so I can leave a lift in slipper, shoes, and boot.
