Power Issue
I originally ordered one of these laptops and had it for a couple of days before it wouldn’t turn back on. I sent it back and the return process was pretty easy. I have had the new one for a few months and seems to be working.

Do not buy. Laptop crashed twice in 4 months
TL:DR this laptop will refuse to turn on after less than a month of intense usage such as watching cat videos on YouTube.I purchased this laptop in August 2024 to replace a 5 year old HP laptop that died. In late September 2024, this laptop suddenly refused to charge and would not turn on even when plugged in. HP took 4 weeks to complete a warranty repair. I received the laptop back just before Halloween. On December 6, 2024, the now "repaired" laptop, suddenly stopped charging and refused to turn on. HP now says they are going to charge me to repair the computer because "it was upgraded by the reseller." The reseller is, of course, The HP Store.Amazon offered me a refund minus a $99 restocking fee, which I accepted as I will never purchase or use another HP product. The laptop also came loaded to the gunwale with junk software. Which I got to delete twice, bc HP reinstalled all of it after the repair. And now we have passive aggressive FAQs:So is it a good value? No, it's a paper weight. What's the storage capacity? I don't know, it won't turn on.Is it touch screen? You can touch the screen, but it won't do anything, since it won't turn on.What's the sound quality? Silence.

Great value and works great!
I was nervous about this laptop but wanted the extras that you don’t get in any stores. I spent tons of time looking for the perfect laptop. This one has everything I wanted by way of ports I need and fast processing for working at home. When I first looked at the box I thought it was the wrong computer but the seller put the additions onto it which the seller quickly responded to me when I went to return it. Lots of people complain in the reviews that the box was opened. In order to put the additions onto the laptop they had to open the box. It is resealed at the bottom. I am living the laptop so far. It is working great.

A laptop perfect for a teenager
I bought this laptop for my teenaged son who wanted to play games. Equipped with 32GB RAM and the right Intel processor, I was able to meet most of his needs that doubles up for his school use as well. He loves this HP laptop the most and is hooked on surfing the web and playing games with his classmates at school. I haven't faced any issues with this laptop for well over a year now. The keyboard seems to be sturdy and withstands the rough use. All I had to do was to procure an external keyboard and a mouse as a backup for him to play games. The 15" monitor still falls short so we added an external monitor.
