Nice and less messy than rock salt

A good value pack. Well packaged as it was in a plastic bag surrounded by hessian style cover making it very secure. It was just dumped on my door step with no ring from Yodel (!) but the salt itself worked a treat - was nice and gritty.

2x100kg bags arrived, not 2x12kg bags salt was good but short buy 4 kg !!!

Good white salt. I use it on my steep tarmac driveway. Best way to spread is to use a garden trowl and throw it sideways or up in the air. De-ices my drive very well. Good delivery service too. Keep an eye on the price through the year though.

Salt is in one huge bag not 2 has I expected big trouble for me moving it around ok when its half empty xxx don't know about performance as yet

I used this all summer and not once did I fall foul to the tyranny of an ice-covered driveway that could have caused the Jag to spin perilously out of control, crashing in to the MG I use at weekends for trips to my local gastropub (#macandcheese) or, even worse, slamming in to the TDG (triple detached garage) causing severe structural damage. I am delighted, as is my unblemished NCB (No Claims Bonus). VFG (Very Flipping Good). Will be using throughout the winter and am hoping for similar results.

So I brought this to use on my driveway to kill the constant growth of weeds and so far it seems to have worked an absolute treat. I just simply scattered the salt around my driveway paying particular attention to the most infected areas. The weeds slowly started to die off and disintegrate within 10 days/2 weeks or so. Since then I have had very little re-growth. Although early on this it has been very promising and much better than over the counter weed killer.
