Works Good & Very Nice Product.

This is nothing more than a normal flash drive...except it’s more expensive and significantly more problematic. It will take the initial finger print (10 times in order to get all angles) and then it will NOT open with aforementioned finger print. I got this to keep important documents secure even when I am on multiple computers, but it will not open this secured, encrypted portion of the USB. In fact despite ordering the 32Gb it will only grant me ( the set administrator) access to 14.8 Gb of it. I am not happy with this at all and will be buying a simple cypher code USB and returning this one after formatting the info that I tried to put on here. Waste of my time and money.

A nice USB drive, but came with no instructions. Had to look through other reviews to see how to set this up. Drive comes already partitioned into two 32GB parts (don't know if there is a way to alter this). You only see the first section, this holds the finger print set up file that installs on your computer. That part is fine, run the program and set up your finger print. But it doesn't tell you what to do next and this took some working out, not even their website was any help.Another review said that you had to scan all ten available slots, which i did. With the drive plugged in and the program run and finger print scanned and accepted, looking at file explorer no hidden drive appeared.There is no need to run the program each time, all you have to do is open file explorer when the usb drive is plugged in and scan your finger, after a number of seconds the hidden drive appears and can be accessed.

These drives are a very good price and I have not had any problems with any of them not working. But, even if one or two didn't work, it would still be worth the money I save from not buying individual pieces in the store. It adds up very quickly.

I have not yet got this fingerprint system to work... i thought this ''key'' would lock the driver but the drive is open with or without the fingerprint... this system (nstructions are not clear what i need to do to accuatly ''LOCK' the drive hven gone trough the instructions step by step but the drive is W I D e OPEN ???Q: is the program to be set up on the drive or on the computer or both?Q when a take the drive unplug from the PC...and put it in again.. it should need a fingerprint to open... but No its open?Q what do the lights mean..? red green blinking and not blinkin ?? no informationany suggestions?rgds Arni [email protected]

The directions for installing fingerprints works as stated. From there on, it required days of investigation on my part. I was going to give this product a 1 or less because as an actively technical computer person for 30 years, I could not get this USB drive to work or find directions on how to. As I was about to blast, it with a one star review, I read some other reviews that led me to the answers I needed.step 1. follow directions to scan fingers. IMPORTANT- Scan all 10 of your fingers! 5 from one hand and 5 from some one else. Later when your trying to open it, it often will not read one or 3 of your fingers for some reason (dryness of skin, humidity, just not a great scanner, whatever). you can then just move to next finger.step 2 when you look at available drives you will see two of them. In my case one E: 29.7g drive (by decimal 32g) and one F: with no info. You then have to hold your finger on the scanner for people say 2 seconds (I have found it to be closer to 5ish seconds) if the F: drive doesn't show 29.7g then move to next finger. I have had to use my pinky one time.From there it works.Hope this helps.

MY issue is more with Kootin, then with the product, they are probably a relabeled re-seller. I have other USB fingerprint drives, but the one I wanted with a keychain attachment wasn't in black from the other provider. I am a manager and needed it on my retractable key-chain, so I'd always have it.This one works good, well, the non-encrypted part. I went to set it up and for some reason the software acted stupid and I could not setup the admin, it went and set it up with no code.MY ISSUE:=> I contacted Kootin through Amazon, and they told me to send them my email address. I did, they responded with "amazon blocked your email address", have they ever had customer issues before, shouldn't they be aware of this..=> So I contacted Amazon and through their support, they gave me the Kootin support email, so I contacted them directly, and their response was to send me a copy of the manual, they indicated that resetting the admin was listed in that manual, I checked the manual, it only explains how to setup the admin, not how to reset it, it denies me etc. waste of time. still working on fixing the issue, but beware..

Pésimo producto, no es lo que anuncian

Mi primera reseña fue: No ofrece la seguridad que promete. NO reconoce, en Windows 10... Quiero corregir la evaluación. SI FUNCIONA tiene truco pero al final si es como se describe el producto. El truco consiste en acceder al disposito, dar de alta la o las huellas dactilares. Cuando se introduce en cualquier computadora hay que activar la huella (hay que intentar varias veces) al acceder aparece otro disco y en ese es donde se guarda la información que se quiere proteger, es invisible cuando se extrae la misma, siempre hay que introducir la huella para acceder al disco oculto.

This product doesn't work with Apple laptops at all, it says it only works with Windows Application's

Lo acabo de recibir hace unas horas y simplemente ni siquiera lo reconoce ni mi laptop, es una Mac, ni tampoco mi celular Samsung, de donde quería descargar fotos para liberar espacio en Google Fotos. Tendré que regresarlo.

Inmediatamente al insertar en el puerto USB el antivirus de Symantec detecta virus y malware contenidos en el dispositivo.El único manual existe como archivo PDF dentro de la USBNo encuentro a quién consultar / pedir apoyo!
