Very happy with this waste bin. I have had it for a few months now and it works very well, with no issues on its performance. I would highly recommend.

hands-free sensor opens fast with a soft close action. Rectangular and fits flush to a wall. Brushed steel looks smart.

This is a 5 star product I would take away one star for incorrectly placing the battery unit which is from inside the top of the bin. One day the battery cover dropped in the bin and went away with the garbage. Now the batteries are exposed and has to be cleaned frequently to keep the battery unit clean. Ideal location for the battery unit is on the back of the cap near the on/off switch. Apart from the above mentioned issue, its a brilliant product at just an amazing price. Will look good in any style kitchen and unlike other brands it is priced what we should pay for a bin. Product is of good quality and looks great. Battery life is amazingly good (as per the manual they should last for an year with avg. 12 open/close cycles per day). The bin liner is secured very well with the ring and once the liner is tugged back in you can't see it from outside and looks neat. Sensor works perfectly fine. Earlier I thought the lid might open even if we pass by the bin but that is not the case, it doesn't open until you are close and wave to the sensor. If you have kids they might find it interesting to play with it (personal experience) and start putting every small bits and pieces in the bin. Cleaning is easy but as mentioned above could have been much easier and cleaner if the lid was designed well from inside.

Very neat looking item and fits nicely into my small kitchen. It is very sensitive though and often opens as I walk past it. If it can be put into a place which is not walked past constantly, it is a great piece of equipment. You must however ensure that you know exactly where the sensor is - it appears to be at the front and not where you would think, looking at the black sensor part. I have had my hands full of rubbish and haven't been able to put the rubbish in quick enough because I haven't caught the right part of the sensor to open the bin quick enough before dropping most of the rubbish on the floor. It just takes getting used to really, if one hasn't had an automatically opening bin before. I tend to place my leg in front of the sensor now and haven't dropped anything else on the floor since! I sincerely hope that it lasts a long time though. I had believed the bin came with a one year guarantee but nothing was in the packaging. I do like the item however and it was a great price. I would recommend this equipment to everyone.

TI have bought this has in the past I have had 3-4 of these bins never had any problems, This one I needed to put batteries in every couple of weeks, so I asked for this to be returned and for I refund. I explained that I did not have a Printer, so Evrie would not collect it. I was told that they had helped me with a solution to return it, I told Amazon I DO NOT HAVE A PRINTER, so I cannot get it picked up, so I have a bin that does not work that Amazon charge me £51 for. Evrie will not pick a parcel up UNLESS it has a printed label on. I am a 74 year old lady, that does not own a printer but how many 74 year olds do. Be WARNED if you are a pensioner and do not have a printer do not buy from Amazon. You will receive faulty items and that you cant return and get a refund, SHAME ON YOU AMAZON This has been so upsetting

Great waste bin!

Nice slim design. Looks good. Rarely have to clean the sides. The top gets messy and has a plastic shinny chrome which marks easily. Most rub out but it's also started to dull a little, but still looks good. Sensor works well in all lighting conditions. The container fits a standard size black bag which is held neatly in place by a plastic rim. The lid is then placed on top. When full, the removed black bag was packed but could still be tied easily. Takes 4 AA batteries. I used rechargeable ones and over 12 months only had to recharge them twice. The lid opens for around 5 seconds which is sometimes too short as it still automatically close regardless of whether you're still over the sensor or not. This has caught me out a number of times, but it quickly reopens. You can use the open/close buttons to to manually override. Unfortunately after 12 months the electronics broke. Constantly trying to close the lid, even when already closed. Cleaned it out and it's now non responsive so I have to leave the lid permenantly open. It was good while it lasted, although I don't consider 12 months value for money so going back to a manual one. Will probably try an automatic one again in a few years once reliability at this price improves. Cost me ~£40 in November 2014.

Arrived on time . Really very pleased with the bin you don't have to manually open/close. Looks good. No smell .

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem roten Abfalleimer mit 25 - 35 Liter Fassungsvermögen und haben uns für diesen entschieden - und haben es nicht bereut. Die Automatik war nicht unbedingt unser Wunsch - man könnte sie ja auch ausschalten mit einem Schalter auf der Rückseite; in diesem Fal würde der Eimer auf mechanische Druck aufmachen. Aber die Automatik hat sich als sehr praktisch herausgestellt. Man muss nur darauf achten, dass man ihn an einen Platz stellt, an dem man nicht vorbeigeht, sonst öffnet er sich eben jedes Mal. Aus unserer Erfahrung reicht der Sensor bis zu einer Entfernung von etwa 15 cm. Die Automatik benötigt vier AA Batterien, die nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten sind. Sie lassen sich einfach in den Deckel einsetzen. Der Korpus ist aus lackiertem Metall und macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Die Müllbeutel werden am schwarzen Plastikring zwischen Korpus und Deckel befestigt, einen Inneneimer gibt es nicht. Wir können eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.

Es una maravilla. Me daba bastante miedo por el sensor. La cocina es muy transitada y en mi caso muy estrecha yno quería verlo todo el día funcionando pero la verdad es que tienes que ponerte prácticamente encima para que te detecte. Además tiene un interruptor y tú la puedes apagar a tu gusto. El diseño es moderno y sencillo. Muy pero que muy bonita. La aconsejo por supuesto.

Esteticamente bello. Lo trovo anche estremamente pratico.ho scelto questo modello perché al contrario di quelle tonde mi permette anche di vuotare la paletta della scopa, l'apertura infatti è bella grande.il coperchio è di plastica riverniciata e a distanza di un anno non si è minimamente rovinato. Il sensore funziona decisamente bene è molto sensibile.in alternativa ci sono due tasti per apertura e chiusura.nel retro c'è il tasto on/off.il sacchetto si incastra con una guarnizione di plastica nera.io uso i classici sacchetti coop è ci vanno perfetti.arrivato in perfette confizioni
