Cheap, versatile, lightweight but easily up for most DIY cores
While not as gutsy as some lightweight, compact tools a very credible drill-driver for routine DIY chores. A big plus is a pair of batteries so one set can be charging if doing repetitve work such as pre-drilling or assembly. At some settings the brushes flash alarmingly but it's hardly an issue unless ther is volatile valour around, in which case a (very much more expensive) brushless model would be safer. Very handy size and good balance, particularly useful when mucking about with ladders.

Worth the money
So far so good. nice and powerful, easy to use. Handy to have two batteries but the life of the battery is very good. Good purchase

Stop before the battery runs out.
The Bosch drill is excellent and so easy to use for a female, would like more life out of the battery but all in all very good product.

Great little drill
bought as a handy driver/drill , comes with 2 batteries and charger and case, there is a handy light at the front that lights up when you operate the trigger, the one thing I would have liked is a battery state led but not a big issue. it has adequate power but don't think this is the only drill you'll need, I have to say this does 90% of the jobs I use a drill for but this is not designed for heavy work. its very comfortable in the hand and thinking back all the times I used a bulky 18v drill to do little jobs when this was the tool I should have had, I have a Bosch mains powered drill also which is the worst drill I have ever owned (the trigger is"intelligent" and it makes that drill unusable) I nearly never bought this due the trigger on that one, never fear this is one is a plain old stupid trigger and does as its told . Buy this for most of your DIY needs but make sure you have a bigger drill too if you intend to do heavy duty drilling

Neat and a joy to use.
Love it, nice light little drill for, er, drilling. Batteries last ages and charge quickly, the chuck is just <so> easy after an old B&D with a chuck key that didn't seem to fit, the light is handy, it's quiet, it stops and starts when you want, all you really need is an excuse to use it. There is a knack to removing batteries, try not to forget it between uses. You have to squeeze hard in <just> the right place while pulling and it will pop right out. Must have been designed by a man! As with all Bosch tools with cases, it's handy if you want to carry the tool and some extra accessories around, but all it does most of the time is take up room, so my cases go in the loft. I have a chest of drawers and each drawer will take several power tools all clean, tidy and instantly available. The old B&D hammer drill will do for my very occasional forays into drilling concrete and for a response to the age-old question "can I borrow your drill ?" which every professional builder who has visited this house has asked, even some working next door, along with "Do you have an extension lead?".

Superb product
A very useful and easy to use tool. No hassle to find a long enough extension lead or suitable power supply.

Super compact drill driver
Very nice lightweight drill, good for home DIY. Not for heavy duty jobs, you need a more powerful hammer drill for heavy drilling. Suggest having it with 2 batteries and a drill/ bit set which B9sch do.
