Fanastic for Raspberry Pi 2's and 3's
This is a great adapter for providing POE for Raspberry Pis. I have 4 of these adaptors used in junction with a Netgear GS305EP 4 Port POE Switch. With one plug socket, I can run the switch and 4x Raspberry Pis and I've not encountered a single issue since doing this. I power a PI zero, PI Model 2 and 2x PI model 3s. Once nice thing about these is the USB cable and ethernet cable don't need to go to the same device. I power a PI zero with the usb cable from one of these and then plug the ethernet cable into another device that doesn't need POE, giving me maximum utilization from my switch. For bonus points, they are cheaper than the POE hat and more widely supported. The POE hat is for model 3s (newer B models I beleive) and 4s whereas this will work for the older model 2s. You also don't have to worry about whether or not a POE hat is supported with what ever case you are using. Overall, this is a solid product imo - it does one thing and it does that really well whilst sill having an appealing price point. Note: these expose a micro USB connection and not a USB-C connection, USB-C being needed for Raspberry Pi Model 4s.

Adds PoE capabilities to Raspberry PI
I use this PoE Splitter with the Raspberry Pi 3B+, but should work with any version of Pi. In the configuration shown in my pictures, I connected the MicroUSB power cable into the female part of the power cable which branches to both the Pi and the 7" LCD touchscreen display. The PoE Splitter supplies sufficient power to drive both the Pi and the Touchscreen display. Would work with just a Pi connected via HDMI to a standard monitor (no Touchscreen). I actually bought this as a workaround because the PoE hat won't fit in the Smarti Pi Touchscreen case for the Official 7" display. NOTE: Although the link indicator shows orange (10/100 speed), the GB model does connect at 1000 MB/sec speed. I checked both the switch which reported GB speed and I also checked from Linux to see what speed the connection was and this too reported 1000/MB/sec (see second picture). So you'll see a FAST Ethernet light instead of the expected GREEN one for GB speeds on the PoE splitter, but ignore it. It works at the advertised speed for this model. Further note: This company sells a 10/100 model of the same PoE Splitter, so validate you are buying the GB speed splitter.

Gives my Fingbox POE abilities
I have a 10mbs version powering a raspbery pi, but wanted gigabit for my gigabit capable devices, so bought some gigabit versions. I connected one up so far (waiting for another poe switch for the other), and it's working fantastically. It's freed up a bunch of cables and honestly wish I could use it on more devices to get rid of even more cable mess. My fingboxes report gigabit links. However, there is something to note. As another reviewer points out, it's not IEEE802.3AF standards-compliant. The splitters I received, indeed also all have the same serial number. So indeed these are cheap/fake/poorly made. That being said, it's the onlyproduct I can find to do this and as the ratings and reviews show, they work.

Great for my Raspberry Pi
I use this with my Raspberry Pi so I can run it from a POE Switch. Works perfectly, reduces the number of cables to the Pi and saves the need for a mains power socket nearby. Also, if you have a managed POE switch you can turn the Pi On and Off by enabling and disabling the POE output on the managed switch - handy for a remote reboot.

They just work and are cheaper than the raspberry pi Poe hats!
Powered pretty much anything on the end of a Poe powered cable, charge a phone, power a Pi. Just works.

Works very well
Bought the gigabit version which was only a bit more expensive than the 100M one. I already had a PoE capable switch and wanted to de-clutter and get rid of some power supplies. Currently got a small hub (for controlling blinds) and two raspberry pi's powered by these. Only had them a couple of months, but so far so good.

Decent poe splitter
I use these with some SBCs and a smart hub so they are powered by my POE switch. It works with a standard poe switch with no problem.

Tutto funziona come previsto.

Doy un 5 pero lo devuelvo porque no funciona segñun he pensado para mi sistema (conectar una impresora 3D con Marlin) en el router de la empresa, era un riesgo "casi a sabiendas". Pero se ve bien producto.
