This sandalwood face mask was inspired by an Indian recipe. In India, they know the value of using sandalwood powder and gram flour (chick pea flour) for the face. Sandalwood cools the skin and is known for creating glowing, flawless skin, and gram flour reduces puffiness, redness and improves complexion. It is also an awesome cleanser, and it detoxes, tightens, tones and increases circulation. The sandalwood face mask is good for oily as well as dry skin, and you only need to leave it on for 5 minutes. To use, please mix a tsp of powder with water or oil to make a thin paste. Add a thin layer to the skin and allow it to sit on your skin for up to 5 minutes, no longer. Then rinse it off using a wash cloth in a circular motion.
