I bought a few sets of these lights to illuminate a very large display cabinet. They do the job perfectly. They're very lightweight, so the two-sided tape they came with hold the lights in place securely (even upside down).

TLDR Version : Careful, the power adapters have changed and no longer match the picture shown on Amazon. If you plan to use surge protectors, just know that you may not be able to get as many units into a single surge protector as you might anticipate.The longer version:Overall, these are nice lights that work quite well in my glass cabinets for collectibles. I would give five stars with the exception of two ongoing things - Firstly, I originally ordered two sets to make sure they'd work for me before buying another seven sets. When I received the test units, they worked perfectly. Not only in terms of the lights themselves, but another critical piece for me is power management. The first two units had normal plugs that allowed them to be plugged into a surge protector. This is important for me as having seven cabinets aligning a wall with the wall plug behind them, it is the only way that I'd successfully be able to get them all plugged in and working. Also, I'm using a wifi "smart" power strip so that I can turn them all on and off at once without having to figure out a way to get to seven different on/off switches that would be tucked between or behind the cabinets as well.So my test pair showed that this proposed configuration would work so I ordered the rest. But when they arrived, they had an entirely different plug that no longer could be plugged into the smart surge protector. In fact, I could only get two plugged in, possibly three if I was willing to bend the cable a bit, which I'm not prepared to do for safety concerns. After contacting support, they confirmed that the plugs had recently changed but they would send me the old style. A week later, having received no shipping/tracking information, I inquired again as to when they might be expected. I was told they were not in stock and had to be manufactured and that I would be notified when they were ready to be shipped. That's been a couple of weeks ago now and I still haven't heard anything.Despite that, I still quite like the lights, but effectively turning them on/off and powering them up is a challenge. If/when I receive the replacement plugs I will likely raise the rating to five stars.Issue number two that I'm having though, is one set of the seven will occasionally blink in and out. I have yet to determine which set it is because I always catch it out the corner of my eye instead of looking at it directly when it happens. So I'm a bit concerned about the overall longevity of the lights. But again, that's just one set of nine overall and it is random/sporadic so it is probably just a fluke.

I'm happy with this lighing I had bit of dobouts because the price tag was very high but needed somthing better to replace my previous lightingthe package came with all the items I needed to install the lighingit was a easy procces to to doand the lights are really bright but not too brightperfect for displaying my figuresI just wish it came with diffent type of double sided adhesive because what I got in the box I had to reapply it and it disintegrated And I had to find another one.and I wish this lighting had brightness control and not only just on/off buttonbut this is really good for detolf display and more furnitre and anyone with a collction

Have installed two sets in some Ikea detolf cabinets. Incredibly bright and easy installation. I have paired them with some Wyze outlets so I can control them from my phone. Highly recommend.

This model does NOT have a dimming option. I istalled them when I bought them in June of 2024, and I am writing this in October of 2024 to share that they are pretty much dead. There is no info on this Amazon listing for warranty, there is no info on their website for warranty info. I have reached out to them via email and will update this if I get a response or resolution.Update: Reached out to Customer Service and after a few questions back and forth, I was sent a new power adapter. That fixed the problem! Excellent customer service!

The media could not be loaded. I love these lights! Turns a unappealing looking glass shelves into a show piece! I love the angle of the lights! Spreads the light to all figures in the shelf. The length of the cables are great! Great value for the money! The build quality is great! Little to no heat when left on for a while. No remote control but I can control them with Alexa. I highly recommend this product.

I have tried multiple times to customize my own led strips with diffusers to fit my detolf shelves and light up my display case properly for a fair price, but I've pretty much had enough of the amount of bad soldering, exposed unsightly wires, and frustration this project has caused me. I didn't realize there were lights specifically made for detolf shelves here on Amazon. I saw the reviews here and the one that made me buy this set was the review that showed pictures how to drill a small hole to insert the wires for a clean set up. The light is a bright cool white and makes my display look amazing. The ease of gathering the wires was better than expected and nothing is an eye sore, I can focus on the displays instead. I can't recommend these lights for ikea detolf shelves enough!
