Fantastic hinges!!!
I bought these hinges because I designed a hidden bookcase door that I wanted to be outside of the closet space. The bookcase is made from oak and reclaimed fence wood and weighs about 100 lbs. It has a frame underneath that has 4 wheels on it ( 1 per corner ), but the hinges still had to be sturdy enough to hold enough of the weight so that most of it would not strain the frame at the bottom. The hinges also had to be completely hidden when the bookcase door is closed, without me having to make massive changes to the doorway itself. These hinges were the perfect answer! I was able to put them inside the door frame ( after removing the original door ) and then attach them to my bookcase. The bookcase swings open easily and closes flush to the opening. They are invisible when the door is closed and move easily and smoothly! They also are far less expensive than the other bookcase door hinges that mount under and above the bookcase and require the bookcase to be installed in the doorway itself.I highly recommend these hinges for any DIY projects that require a sturdy, flexible hidden hinge.

Durable hinges
I searched high and low to figure out what kind of hinges to use for a custom table I was building for a consignment shop. They needed to lift a folding countertop up and down through the middle of the table/cabinets. These hinges ended up working very well, and are still in use a year later.

Heavy duty
They are very heavy duty hinges. Way to big and strong for what I need them for. However I'm now looking for a way to use them!

Sturdy Hinges
Worked well for my heavy trap door to my crawl space. Need to have someone on top to assure trap door is centered perfectly in the opening before screwing the hinges in place from below.

Works great.
The media could not be loaded. I needed this for a trapdoor cover that leads to a crawl space under the house in a breaker box room. The room was never finished so I spent a day redoing it and adding flooring but needed to create a cover for the crawlspace opening. I supported it with 2x4’s that are removable (until I think of a better solution) and found these hinges and a recessed handle. Works great. If I cared enough I might add trim and a hydraulic strut to help keep it open but I don’t. It’s not used often so these should hold up. With high traffic, I would worry with these according to other reviews

VERY Light duty hinges.
These hinges are very weak. A towel bar or storage that adds any weight at all to the door will cause it to sag when opened. I have to pull up on the door to get it to cluse properly.

Perfect for flush-mount cabinet doors
Doing a "Special project". Was concerned about being able to hide the door edges. Glued a mirror over the door, was able to overlap the hinge side by a full 1/2" and the door still opens perfectly with no binding. The hinges are sturdy, and seem to have no problem with the weight of the mirror.

Screw issue.
Screws are not strong enough to grip the wood w/o breaking or pulling out. Had to use longer ones.
