Wow the other reviewers weren't joking, all the pieces really were broken up. I've weighed two good pieces and it is 30g, so at least I can figure out how many/much pieces I will need by weight when I use up all the whole pieces. I only use these tabs and nothing else (upon recommendation of the repair guy) since we have an oxygenating system. It works great in my swim spa, can barely smell it. Dries out the skin though so watch out.

Consider this an initial evaluation since I've mainly just verified that I can use these tablets with a Kaboom toilet bowl cleaner system. As to that, I found that it is in fact very, very simple to take apart the blue section of the Kaboom unit to allow you to use these tablets rather than buy the Kaboom refills and it will save you a considerable amount to do so! The initial refill from Kaboom had obviously been used up so it was time to see if I could easily use the Leisure tablets. The process simply involves unscrewing the blue top portion of the Kaboom, removing it from the white container (you don't have to disconnect any of the hoses), and then pry off the cap on the bottom of the blue container. I was able to do it simply with my fingers though if you want to use a pliers or other tool it might be somewhat easier. But really, it was easily done. Once it's off, just drop in a single bromide tablet in to blue Kaboom unit, snap the cap back on and replace the blue container back it the white part and screw it tightly back on. Done! The whole process perhaps took 3 minutes if that.After I see how well these new bromide tablets work over time, I'll report back and update this evaluation. I do know right now that the chlorine smell, obvious especially when I started using the Kaboom unit, is no longer present. More to come in a couple of weeks...

These tablets easily into the NeverScrub! Automatic Toilet Cleaning System. I used a pair of pliers to remove the top of the existing cartridge in the NeverScrub..This only took a minute, and even I was able to do it without any harm to myself or innocent bystanders. I did this in both of my bathrooms. I was worried about how effective the tablets would be, so I put one tablet into the NeverScrub! system and dropped a second tablet directly into the toilet's tank. I had already done some research to confirm that the ingredients wouldn't harm the tank parts. I'm also using this to see which of the two tablets will dissolve first. One toilet gets used more than the other so I don't think that just using the NeverScrub system for one and tablets directly in the tank in the other would be a fair comparison. This was a few weeks ago and since then I've only needed to lightly clean the toilet bowl once to remove some, ahem, solids. Otherwise it keeps the bowls sparkling clean at a much lower cost than the offical NeverScrub cartridges.

Glad to find I can just send out an order for these to keep my hot tub in shape. Yes a few are crushed or cracked but i don't mind as i typically toss them in the corner or bottom of the hot tub after I get out and by the time I get in again they are all dissolved. I couldn't find the bromine at a reasonable price before so I'd buy the clorox pool ones and take a hammer to the big tablets for smaller pieces anyways so hey shake mine up a bit more I am happy when i can toss small bits in as I'm now saving time.

Works Great. I put 3 tabs in my floating dispenser for my hot tub.
