Except the tiagra 2x9 sti shifters were a bit sticky, and she prefers a drop bar. These work great. Shifting is quick and smooth. I made one minor adjustment to the rear cable tension after installing and it smoothly shifts across all 9 gears. Front shifter seems to have the half step adjustment for when the front derailleur starts to rub on the chain which is a nice feature. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more microshift parts. These worked out really well.
