I ordered IgG 2000DF. Received IgG 2000 CWP. It contains milk, while DF is "diary free". It's useless for me as I can not take any diary products.

I have been dealing with a digestive infection, picked up while traveling, that so far has proved resistant to antibiotics. Being that they (the critters) produce cysteine proteases that degrade IgA and IgG3 which make it even harder for antibiotics to be effective, my doctor and I decided to give IgG 2000 DF a try.In some ways the IgG 2000 DF made me feel better, however, all the symptoms associated with the digestive infection worsened significantly. Most pathogens require iron to survive and many have adapted mechanisms to remove iron from transferrin and lactoferrin. From what I understand, the lactoferrin in IgG 2000 DF contains iron. I'm pretty confident that this is why IgG 2000 worsened my symptoms because apolactoferrin (lactoferrin with the iron removed) taken on an empty stomach 2x a day, significantly improves my symptoms. I've gone back and forth between the two products with the same results each time....IgG2000 DF worsens my symptoms and the apolactoferrin improves my symptoms.I would like to suggest to the manufacturer that they may want to consider a version of this product that is enteric coated to bypass stomach acid degrading the immunoglobulins and that also contains apolactoferrin instead of lactoferrin.Just my two cents and based on my own personal experience which of course may not apply to anyone else.One more thing....My review is just about the product and should not at all reflect on this particular seller.

Haven't gotten sick for a whole year... And I work in a school! Not sure however if it is contributing to my tummy problems. ??? Going to try the GI Protect today.
