Amazing brightness of torch would definitely recommend

This is such a shame. For the first year, I did not use it much but was very impressed with the build quality and with the light output. Just out of warranty, I bought it into regular use and found what others have commented on. The "ON" switch has a mind of its own! Sometimes the torch switches on and many times it does not. Extremely frustrating. To build something this good and let it down with a cheap switch is very poor design. Until they redesign the switch, I have to suggest that you do not buy. Their claim that it is "designed to last 15 years" is patently ridiculous......**UPDATE** - I had bought a second of these torches before the fault on the first became apparent. Sadly, the second torch also has the same fault now it has been used a mere handful of times.. This is therefore NOT an isolated fault but appears to be an inherent defect. DO NOT BUY. Unfortunately, too late to return....

Nice and bright

As title, it is BRIGHT. However....... obviously given it is so bright the power consumption is high and using 1800 mah rechargeable battery’s you can expect around 90 mins of full beam. I think the low power and strobe features are pretty superfluous, because who buys a torch cos it has a ‘dim’ or flash ability? I bought this for work (1 use every 66 seconds for 7.5 hours a day on a production line) but sadly the switch lets it down and under admittedly extreme conditions it doesn’t always perform.Again being picky the lack of focus and the beam scatter is less than ideal.BUT, if you’re looking for a BRIGHT torch at a very reasonable price and in ‘normal’ use fantastic performance, you won’t go far wrong with this.

Fantastic value for money

As far as off the shelf, cheap supermarket torches go, Energizer make some of the best. As a professional grade torch, in the £30ish price bracket, this is average at best. I don't see the point of this torch only taking lithium batteries. Companies like Fenix, Jetbeam, Thrunite etc produce torches that can use alkaline AA batteries but have lumen outputs that exceed this at a similar price.

Don’t buy - You will notice a number of similar comments on the reviews - there seems to be a design flaw with the switching mechanism meaning it very frequently fails to switch on at all. Sometimes I have to press the on button 20 times to get it to switch on. It started doing this immediately (i.e. when the torch was brand new) so its not an issue of wear and tear.I did upload a video originally with this review to demonstrate exactly what I mean but Amazon rejected it as it apparently didnt meet their guidelines. Seems very strange. I would avoid this product.

It seemed a good little torch but after 3 weeks of use, the switch keeps failing. Shame really

Diese Taschenlampe ist sehr hell. Durch die kompakten Abmessungen liegt sie angenehm in der Hand. Der Korpus aus Metall verleiht der Taschenlampe eine stabile und angenehme Haptik und liegt mit ihrem höheren Gewicht gut in der Hand.

Había comprado anteriormente otras linternas de Energizer que se quedaban cortas de intensidad de luz, y la verdad que tenía mis reservas cuando compré esta. Sin embargo me he quedado sorprendido por lo bien que alumbra y por su sólida construcción. La recomiendo como linterna de mano para usar con 2 pilas recargables estándar AA.

Lampe puissante et compact, étanche aux projections d'eau, mais à l'immersion j'ai un doute !, belles finitions, elle fait solides ,bonne prises en main, résiste à effectivement 3 mètres au chocs , éclaire correctement à 60 mètres,(contrairement à la description 150 mètres c'est abusé) c'est parfait pour randonnées nocturnes, bonne durée de vie avec des piles lithium environ 6 heures, on peut mettre des Ni-MH et Ni-CD aussi, mais l'autonomie est de environs 4 heures bref je recommande

Nun habe ich die Taschenlampe bereits etwas verwenden können und bin mit der Leuchtkraft sehr zufrieden.+ Leuchtkraft- Dimmen funktioniert mittels gehaltenem Einschaltknopf wodurch es immer mit maximaler Stärke beginnt und dann ca. auf 60% abfällt, einmal pulsiert und wieder ansteigt.

Ce produit est tout à fait conforme à mes attentes. Il est simple d'utilisation, léclairage est réglable et il fonctionne parfaitement. Rien à reprocher.
