No issues getting this to work as expected. However, I encountered one issue with the included RFID tags. The card was ISO15693, but the blue fob was only ISO14443 compatible. This caused some confusion at first, but after buying some ISO15693 fobs, all is good.

These are a major upgrade from the RC522. Much better read range. I removed 2 stars because the included blue fobs are the wrong type of tag and cannot be detected by this reader. That was very frustrating because I didn't know why my reader wasn't working and in the process of trouble shooting as assumed that the INCLUDED TAG WOULD BE CORRECT so I wasted a lot of time. The card works at least.

Included tags are not ISO15693 compliant and do not work with the reader. They are ISO14443 (MIFARE).

Can’t tell you how much fun I’ve had with these. Rigged up some keyless entry’s for an escape room that I put together with maglocks and servos. Worked flawlessly

The reader works as expected, however as others have noted as well, the included card and blue key chain are not the right standard.
