CELOX Nosebleed Dressing, 5-Pads

I got these for my grandmother who is on oxygen and blood thinners. Sometimes she gets very bad nosebleeds from using the oxygen all the time and these stop it quick even though she is on blood thinners.

I ordered these on January 3, 2021 and was expecting them between January 14th and the 20th. This is not an Amazon Prime item, so I was very surprised to see that they arrived today, January 6, 2021. Great, quick service and solid packaging.

I have recurring spontaneous nose bleeds and this usually works quite well. Yesterday a bleed started during a shower and I used four of these before I had to go to the ER. I guess these just don't have enough stopping power for the really bad bleeds. It is expensive and painful to have to go thru what I just did. Wish I could have made these work this time.

Have a child with a Bleeding disorder. This product has saved us many trips to the hospital emergency ward. The strips are made for an Adult sized nose. For a child, I have found it is most effective to tear the strip in half. Take one half and then roll it diagonally and insert it into the nose with a screwing motion. This is the most effective product we have found for nosebleeds. Expensive but far cheaper than a trip to emergency. This is a must have item for anyone with a bleeding disorder.

Received as expected. Fortunately, haven’t needed yet. I am on anticoagulants so tend to have excessive bleeds for hours. Hoping this will avoid Ers.
