The presentation/storage of this game is unique and pretty cool. The bottom (card holder) compartment is WAY more difficult to open than the other two (buzzer + tile holder) compartments, though. I'm not sure why. I actually had two copies of this game. The original one had a broken buzzer -- the power button was loose and maybe not even connected internally. So, I gave up trying to open the bottom compartment on that one since I was returning it anyway. The second (replacement) game had a working buzzer, but that bottom compartment still seemed to be impossibly sealed. Eventually we got it open, but the next time we wanted to play, it was once again difficult to open, even though we hadn't tried to close it tightly.The directions are annoying -- the pages go from right to left. This seems especially weird for a word game. The buzzer makes a quick beep, which isn't very satisfying -- smacking the table or yelling out a word would be just as effective. But the buzzer is a fun way to top the game container, as long as it doesn't get bumped around in a toy box. The dual languages on the game cards is another interesting feature, but also a bit confusing at times during a fast paced game.The container and game pieces and cards are all durable and well-made.Gameplay is simple, but enjoyable.Overall, this is a fun game which can basically be as long or short as you'd like it to be each time you play.

Super fun spelling game that was easy to adjust between my kids who are good and bad spellers (7th grader had to find words 5 letters or longer versus 4th grader could do any length). The catagories kept it fun and engaging and made the kids think. My one complaint is the buzzer died on the third time playing, and while not vital to the game it was a fun element. Would definitely recommend for homeschool spelling fun!

We loved this word game! Not only did it give our brains a fun work out, it gave us tons of laughs as we all tired to be the first to hit the buzzer! Even my cat loved it, even though he kept spelling the same word the whole time 😉. Seriously though this game is a perfect rainy day party pleaser. A welcome pastime over screen time! The game play is engaging and entertaining as well as challenging, I mean it really tests your memory, vocabulary, and spelling skills!I would definitely recommend this game to keep on a shelf where you can easily grab and go! I mean really the whole packaging is fab! The sleek compact storage container and buzzer top just make it so much more appealing then a boring cardboard box that eventually gets busted up. The instructions are super clear and come on a really cute circular fold out booklet that easily folds back for easy storage. This entire game actually makes for easy storage and clean up! What are you waiting for get this game! We really love ours!

This game is so fun. We were wnjoying ourselves within minutes of opening it. It’s challenging enough but still has really simple game play that makes it easy to learn and keeps things moving fast. The chaotic search for letters had us bursting with laughter. We played with two people and I imagine it would be even crazier with more people. I can see us taking this to game night at friends’ houses that have children too. It feels like it’s made for every age level that can read/spell.There’s more than one “solution” for every card which means the game will change every time. But there’s also so many cards I can’t imagine you’d get through them all very quickly anyway.The packaging is sturdy and cool and very portable. The bottom is tricky to twist off at first, but if you follow the helpful arrow printed on the package, it’s self explanatory. The buzzer has an off switch (last picture I posted)- so I can travel with it in the game bag without concern that the buzzer will buzz in transit or I’ll accidentally run down the batteries in the closet!Highly recommend this game because it’s fast, fun, and addictive!

Packaged well, arrived in great shape. Kids loved the buzzer, of course! We played with 3 generations of family and everyone had a blast - lots of giggling in the fast-paced game. My 4 year old even joined in by spelling her name over and over with the tiles, which was a great way to get her to recognize letters, so even a good teaching tool! We love it and will play again over the holidays. Also love that the packaging is small and with a case that all the tiles fit in snug and nicely. Easy to travel with!

Played this game with hubby and next door neighbors last night for the first time. We had so much fun and laughed so hard hitting that buzzer. I love the bottle that holds the tiles and cards. So easy to put back the pieces and won't fall apart like so many game boxes do. I am ordering another one right now for my sister. She loves playing games with her family. She's going to love it! Helps with keeping your mind active too! Don't often write reviews but this game is a winner!

Our family LOVES this game! We have participants from ages 8 to 80, and we all get into the fun! The categories are challenging, but manageable for everyone. The younger ones are quick, and the older ones are savvy, making this a great game for all to enjoy. We have played at home and on vacation (small container easy to pack in your suitcase) and look forward to many more game nights with Pik Quik!
