Coghlans Salt and Pepper Shaker

These are very small about one inch in total length but contain and adequate supply for several persons. Idea for a single individual to use with work packed lunches etc. I like the idea that you can access either one without opening the other. Less spills. Fits in pocket or purse.

The product was smaller than I expected, however it is OK for my needs. If you were wishing to carry vinigar/liquid , it is water tight. Handy if you have salad. 😅 looks ok feels good. Just make sure you done mislay it.

This is the perfect size for overnight camping or even a backpacking trip. It holds plenty and salt and pepper to supplement meals to taste, and if that is all you use it for it will last 1 person weeks. Obviously less the more people are using it.It will not last as long if you are also using it in cooking, but even so it should last a few days, and if you need larger supplies then there are bigger containers to use. More than likely you will arrive now and again at a café, and it is not difficult to get it refilled for a few pence.It is what it is – a perfectly sized backpacking container.It is light and compact and easy to use and easy to refill, however it is cheap and so is cheap quality. It’s good enough but I would have preferred to pay a little more and have it better made, but it is ok. Just don’t sit or stand on it, or be too strong with the threads.The design allows a little spillage from the sprinkle holes into the central housing. But this could be stopped by inserting a rubber cut out, maybe from a bicycle inner tube, etc.

Read the other reviews they are tiny I would have sent them back but to lazy. They do what you want but are ridiculously small.

I know you need small for backpacking and camping but this is ridiculous. The amounts of salt and pepper it holds are miniscule, maybe only one or two servings. The whole thing is barely 5cm long, including the cap/end sections, and only about 1cm diameter.Also the holes to shake out the grains are too small (I've had to crush up normal salt & pepper to dust with a pestle & mortar and still struggle to shake out any pepper).Not worth sending back - but would NOT recommend.

This thing is about as long as my thumb and about a third of its width ( glove size 9 )It is more akin to something you would find in a Christmas cracker and I would guess that it would only last for about 2-3 days before refilling.

Tiny salt and pepper cellar, ideal for keeping in your handbag for everyday 'emergencies', unexpected eating on the go, or taking on short camping trips. e.g. I can now grab some boiled eggs and eat them as a snack on the go. The caps at either end unscrew to reveal the holes through which you shake the salt pepper, and unscrewing in the middle allows to refill. All this feels secure and doesn't seem to leak. Make sure you understand the size and check whether it is fit for the purpose you want e.g. too small for a 2-week family camping holiday. For the purpose it is intended to serve, it seems excellent.
