Gourmet Living Summer Truffle Mushroom Carpaccio | Slices of Italian Truffles in Sunflower Oil 2.65oz

I love this product despite it is not as good as a real fresh truffle. I use it in omelettes, on top of meat or with rice, salad, etc. For such a price it might not be papa-maman's truffle, but sincerely I think it is still a great and good product to me.It comes in a small jar and the truffle is not entire, but shaved. I like the juice which is quite strong and can perfume some of your dishes and particularly eggs. All in all it is ok for such a price. As soon as the jar is open eat asap and do not forget to close your jar pretty well in between to conserve the aromas. .

Photo of jar I received - only bits visible from all angles. No slices as described (which is what I need). I didn't want to open it in case it needs to be returned. I'm waiting for feedback. Maybe there are slices in there just surrounded by bits. Or this jar got jostled too much in transit bteaking slices apart.

The truffles are pretty small and sliced pretty thick. Flavor is good. I chop them up for my recipes. I wouldn't use them if you need nice large thin slices. Better to use fresh truffles with a slicer.

I loved these, have had them with garlic creamy pasta, on pizza and and chopped through mashed potatoes.

The package came fresh, and the truffles where cut thickly, be mindful they are not shaved. We used the product as a topping for hamburgers, and a mascarpone & truffle pasta. Delicious and at a reasonable price.

I have tried a few other truffles (oils, pastes) but found this one to be the best. The truffles are small, sliced and in truffle oil. A teaspoon in a bowl of pasta is all it takes

Upon opening the jar I noticed two things: 1) How densely packed it was and 2) The wonderful aroma of the truffles. I have used these on pasta, sandwiches, pizza, and salad. The jar says to use within a week of opening, but I have been using for a little while longer and have not noticed any dip in quality.

Jar arrived open with oil spilling out and the paper seal/sticker half off, so I'm unable to use this as they've been compromised. Please contact me.
