Works well!
It works well, in the first 5 days it has caught 14 moths. For best results I found that as well as putting some water in the bucket as per the instructions, if you put a few drops of oil in the water it stops the moths escaping again

This did not work
I bought this in conjunction with the Xen-tari product for managing Chinese caterpillars. I waited a whole week, checking every day and absolutely nothing. I went to the supermarket and bought a pheromone and voila, almost instantly there were moths in the trap. This was either never a pheromone (hard to tell, it doesn't smell) or was out of date. therefore ineffective. I will be seeking a refund.

Works well if a bit fiddly
This does the job. It catches male moths and infestations have now stopped as a result. Best results when elevated. The string for hanging will not last that long, and the design of having a water reservoir held up only by the friction of three plastic prongs means that the reservoir can fall off. But, good price, gets you started, gives you results and I am sure there is a prettier one I can buy now that I seem to have found a solution to the moth problem.

Poor trap design. Not very effective
The design of the trap is pretty poor in that once the water is added the mechanism holding top and bottom together is not strong enough to hold the weight of the water. So I had to use lots of string to keep them together and even then they kept coming apart. Also it only caught one box moth despite seeing several flying round it. The xentari biological spray has been more effective as it does kill the caterpillars, but you have to spray every week to 2 weeks and try to get the spray below the surface of clipped box (as the caterpillars tend to feed just below the surface), so if you have alot of box, it's a major job and very expensive.

Disappointed after a huge success!
A month ago I would have rated this product 5 stars but now I am not sure what to think anymore! I started using it last year and it worked to the perfection. It did exactly what I bought it for: caught all the moths. We didn't have one single caterpillar. I bought a new one this year to place on the other side of the garden as well as new lures. Sadly not one moth has been caught in any of the traps and the box trees are full of caterpillars! I have just ordered more lures to replace the ones we have just used so hopefully those ones will work!

Flimsy construction. Broke immediately it was hung up.
Difficult to put together. Did not last five minutes. Don’t know if it will do what it is supposed to do. No moths caught yet.

A lot of money for what it is
This is effectively just a plastic bucket with several components to it. It’s been hanging up 3 days now and as yet as trapped nothing. The “lure” does not smell of anything so I’m not convinced this is going to work. Very disappointed that I spent so much money on something so flimsy which does not appear to work.
