Quality rack for road and mountain bikes
Usual high quality from Topeak. One thing to beware - there should be a little plastic box containing 4 rubber shims to help fit around seat posts of varying width. This isn’t mentioned in the description but it’s on the Topeak website. The first rack I ordered had an empty accessory box which was pretty sloppy and had to be returned. It won’t fit without the shims, simple as that. Once fitted it is very secure and the MTX rack bag fits perfectly. Highly recommended if you can fit everything you need in an MTX bag.

Great service and an excellent product. I use it on a mountain bike with rear suspension where fitting a rack would be impractical because of the movement. This is perfect as it can move up and down without touching the rear wheel. Plenty of storage especially with drop-down panniers fitted onthe bag

Perfect rack and no need for rear mudguard
Grips seat post really well,. great on its own or as a foundation for the saddle bag etc. I purchased the added mudguard and together they do a great job.

I have a full suspension mountain bike, so it had to be rack that was attached only on the frame below the saddle.

so I must be pleased! My only gripe is that the locking leaver ...
This is my 2nd Topeak beam rack, so I must be pleased!My only gripe is that the locking leaver can brush against my inner thighs, I may replace the leaver with a simpler allen key bolt, it'll take a little longer to remove but it won't brush.
