Great Quality, Flexible Car
Great car mount for the Ghost XL Pro. Looks quite large but unobtrusive once fitted and doesn’t obscure the view from the driver seat particularly. Really like the flexibility of the mount, which pivots in a number of places which means that it can be moulded to any space or shape of windscreen. Doesn’t come with instructions but is easy to use. Item is a genuine Drift accessory, so great quality and good value.

Top marks. Does what it should. And well.
Worked really well. Very simple and easy to fit and remove from my bike. Takes seconds. It's also very well made and sturdy. The rubberised bracket did a pretty good job at absorbing minor vibration when on tarmacked tracks, but to be honest, nothing at all will stop the picture jumping and leaping as you are going over very rough terrain on a mountain bike so I can't hold that against. And quite frankly it's what makes the footage look so good as you hurtle over rocks and mud anyway. The mount held the camera securely and safely over everything we through at it and that's its job after all. Highly recommended.

Not all vented helmets are the same ...
Generally my view of this product is positive. I did (eventually) get it to fit on my Giro helmet and after several rides I can confirm that it stays in place. The product is held in place by four straps, two fore and aft and two left and right. A buckle on each strap tightens the strap and holds the mount in place. However, my helmet has a mesh on the inner part of the helmet which stops the front strap from going through so I have had to loop the strap around the visor as I wasn't prepared to cut the mesh. Also, my helmet has a streamlined rear so the strap doesn't go squarely over the streamlining. This makes it very hard for the mount to sit squarely on top of the helmet. That is offset by the fact that the Ghost has a rotatable lens so with some trial and error it is possible even with the camera skewed slightly from dead centre on the helmet, to get footage that is basically upright not slanted. The image on the web site shows the camera quite far forward on the helmet: I found that I needed the mount to be back, on the "rise" of the helmet from the rear to get a slightly "up" angle, otherwise when in a riding position all you end up filming is the tarmac in front of you. As I bought this to provide potential evidence of incidents that might occur when road cycling, this was not acceptable. It might be different for someone riding DH for example. The matter of the camera angle is exacerbated if you try and set the Ghost to its narrowest field of view. Even with the camera mount set back with a slight up angle, I have found it necessary to use the wider field of view settings to get a more useful view of the road. I don't ride drop handlebar bikes, all my bikes are hybrids so the angle of view may be a particular issue for those who do ride road bikes, especially if they spend a lot of time in the drops. I may end up getting a swivel mount to interface between the Ghost and this mount, but it is more weight and I will see how this pans out over the next few weeks. Generally happy though as it is cheaper than a Go Pro and the 114 degree FOV is adequate although I would have preferred to be able to use the 90 degree FOV for my purposes.

Solid mount for camera
I bought this as a mount for filming when on my motorcycle. Even at track speeds the mount is superbly stable. I've also use it as a mount on the windscreen of the car (internally) to use the camera as a dashcam. Perfect for this as well. Also mounted on the car body for external shots when making a short film recently. Once the sucker is positioned and the vacuum applied it provides a solid immovable platform. No negatives at all.

Good Solid Mount for Your Handlebar
Ordered for use with my Drift Stealth 2 camera. This fits the handlebar on my Hybrid bike (Halfords Carerra Crossfire 1) perfectly. If you want to attach it to anything thicker such as anywhere else on your bike or a roll bar etc, then there is another version of this mount with much longer screws. Note that this mount tilts forwards and backwards but doesn't turn left or right. So if you attach it to the handlebar itself you'll need to undo the screw on the mounting plate of the Drift Stealth 2 camera, and turn it 90 degrees so that the camera faces forward once slotted into the mount.

Adequate helmet camera mount...
This works quite well with my Giro helmet. The straps/tapes used to attach the mount to the helmet are strong but the clasps are quite wide and that restricts the adjustability of the mount on my particular helmet. In addition, the slots cut into the base of the mount to orientate the restraining straps to the slots in the helmet are too long and not sufficiently "angled" to give very different alternative positions. Finally, I had to cut the insect screening mesh on my helmet to fasten the front mounting strap. Once the mount is located properly the camera is supported well enough and does not vibrate while riding on tarmac or smooth tracks, more severe jolts when riding rough, stoney tracks are transmitted to the camera, but it would be difficult to control this. Generally, it does an adequate job.

Works well
I think its a bit expensive but it works well. The sucker attaches firmly and the pivots have little serations so that they lock without overtightening.
