Does the job!
This is a great VHS-C adapter, it does the job superbly, I have transferred over 15 VHS-C tapes without any problems whatsoever, I highly recommend it, it came very well packaged and super fast delivery, well done to all.

It Works. What more can you say?
The converter plays VHS-C perfectly, even if it is a little mechanical to use (be violent with it, it helps). Also doesn't need batteries which is good, the one that it was replacing was murdered by leaking battery acid, what can you do. So yes, I'd recommend it.

Worked as needed
Does exactly what I needed to do which was convert my tapes onto DVD. Make sure you have the right sized tapes and it does require a battery to work.

It took me a while to figure out how to use this. I had to resort to YouTube to see how the tape should be loaded. The mechanical aspect is quite stiff and you have to be very careful when you are loading the tape into the adapter or else it can be easily breakable. Thank goodness the adapter lasted for the 16 VHS-C tapes I needed to transfer. The "motorised" description is misleading as it doesn't require any batteries and there isn't any automatic loading of the VHS-C tape. Anyhow, it served its purpose. I will add this item into my museum of obsolete gadgets!

Not too sure as have never managed to get it to work. I put the small tape in as told but nothing happens, so I don't know if it is me or the tape I put it in. They are fairly simple so they should be fine.

Did the job it was designed for.
I found footage of my Mum and her sisters on the site of my Mum's plot where her house was been built. My Mum enjoyed watching it too. I used this with a vhs-c camcorder cassette, second hand Aiwa video recorder and an Elgato scart/s-video out capture card connected to my pc via usb port.
