I recently purchased the Einhell Power X-Change 18V Cordless Jigsaw for a home flooring project, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its performance and quality. The exceptional quality I’ve come to expect and enjoy from Einhell. It feels solid and acts very much like my extremely expensive Milwaukee jigsaw, only the Einhell has a superior feel to the grip is marginally shorter than the older one and once you get used to the trigger, it’s dead simple to use too with a nice bright led light guiding you. This is a premium quality tool in its functionality and ease of use. I’ve found this manufacturer to be of extremely high quality, hence why I’m replacing older equipment that I can’t get spares for with these little Red Devils. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

A very nice and well-designed jigsaw, it is good value for the money but it is just not as powerful as I would like, for many users it will be more than enough but I'm used to more professional tools, cheers

Einhell tools are one of the best in the DIY and professional business, this comes with no batteries but as I have other Einhell products this is not an issue

As I already own an Einhell Power X-Change battery pack (courtesy of my Einhell reciprocating saw) I thought it would be sensible to buy the same brand of jigsaw too. I owned a Bosch jigsaw before I got this, but that was ruined by a plumber we called in to repair the boiler, who managed to fill up my power tool box with water when he drained the radiator circuit. I discovered the problem some weeks later when it was too late to rescue it. None of the Einhell Power X-Change tools come with a power pack supplied, but the battery can be used in all the compatible tools, so it makes sense to me. I have used the jigsaw to cut up some firewood, trim some garden stakes and also to cut a hole in an aluminium and foam uPVC door to fit a cat flap. That was hard work, but it made a clean cut and the cat flap fitted perfectly. It is simple enough to use, and you will be up and running in no time if you have used a jigsaw previously. If you are new to these tools take a moment or two to read the instructions,and you should find the whole thing pretty straightforward. The blade is changed by using a spring loaded chuck, so no screws to loosen and tighten. You can adjust the pendulum action of the blade to deal with different materials. There is a chip guard (this is in clear plastic so check the 'bag of bits' so you don't throw it away by accident), which is useful to prevent chipping on materials like melamine. There is also an automatic dust blower, to keep the cutting path clear (but it also means you do need to wear a face mask to keep the dust out of your nose and mouth). It also has a parallel guide attachment to keep your edges straight. There is also a neat little light at the front, which comes on when you pull the trigger, so you can see your lines more easily. Overall I think it is a great tool. It vibrates a bit more then my Bosch, but the weight is good and the controls are easy to use. The speed is adjusted by the pressure on the trigger, too, so you can make a very slow starter cut where required. For the money I think it's unbeatable.

My other jigsaw i had for years. It needed this cordless einhell ,brilliant and you dont need a extention. You can use it anywhere.

I've previously been using a well known supermarket own brand jigsaw with mixed success. It finally gave up so I thought I'd go upmarket a little and as I already had a suitable battery it was a no brainer to go for an einhell tool. I'm so glad I did, the difference is remarkable. With the battery in place the jigsaw is well balanced and easy to grip. It's heavy enough to sit firmly on the timber but still move around for the more difficult cuts, which it does with ease. Battery life is good although it is a fairly new battery so I would expect it to power this jigsaw for quite sometime before it needs recharging. I can't comment on how it would cope with professional use but for a keen diyer it's been a well worth addition to my toolbox.

Did I really buy this 🤣. Think this is what hubby uses on his wood projects now. Considering he has recently reflowed the attic, built a fence and a new gate, I’m happy he has something to make it easier. Good price from what I remember and he liked the brand that he bought other things as the batteries are all interchangeable.

Amateur Convaincu depuis longtemps par Einhell et les sans fils de la marque, cette scie est conforme à mes attentes, précise et bon maintien de la lame (investissez dans des lames de qualité!), semelle protégée… bref fait mieux qu’une certaine marque allemande verte selon moi

Bonne scie sauteuse, utilisation parfaite avec une batterie 3.0 Ah ça tiens bien pour le travail de coupe que j'ai effectué.

Die Einhell Akku-Stichsäge TE-JS 18 Li war neben meinem Akkuschrauber mein erstes akkubetriebenes Werkzeug, und ich bin mehr als zufrieden. Für den Einstieg ins Heimwerken ist sie wirklich ideal. Sie liegt angenehm und sicher in der Hand, was längeres Arbeiten erleichtert, und der Sägeblattwechsel ist kinderleicht und ohne Werkzeug möglich – ein echtes Plus für unkompliziertes Arbeiten. Die Schnittleistung ist für den Heimgebrauch absolut überzeugend, und selbst bei etwas anspruchsvolleren Projekten hat sie bisher problemlos ihren Dienst getan. Natürlich darf man sie nicht mit Profi-Geräten vergleichen, aber für den Preis ist sie unschlagbar und erfüllt alle Anforderungen, die man an ein Gerät in dieser Klasse stellen kann. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass sie Teil des Power X-Change Systems ist, sodass ich denselben Akku für andere Einhell-Geräte nutzen kann. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt war die Lieferung: Sie kam schnell und in einwandfreiem Zustand an, sodass ich direkt mit meinem Projekt loslegen konnte. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein zuverlässiges und einfach zu bedienendes Werkzeug suchen, das sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Gelegenheitsheimwerker eine hervorragende Wahl ist.
