Fun to Put Together and Play
The Mibido Robot Dinosaur is fun to put together and play with. It comes in an attractive box with all 424 pieces inside as well as instructions. With so many pieces, the robot takes a bit of time to put together. But it's worth it. It has three distinct build configurations, including two robots and a dinosaur. One of the things I love most about this toy is that it encourages building and hands-on, interactive learning. The app itself is user-friendly and engaging, with a variety of challenges and games that teach kids about coding and programming. The app is also visually appealing and easy to navigate, which has made it more enjoyable for my son to use. In addition to being educational, this toy is also very durable and well-made so it should last. Overall, this is a good quality robot toy which is sure to provide many hours of engaging play. Full marks from me!

Great Concept!. Disappointed with Big Price Increase!
I wanted to start off by stating that I really ended up liking thie "Mibido" branded Robot Toy for what it is, but I have have very mixed feelings about this overall. At the time I acquired this product, the original listing price was set at $52.99, which I felt was reasonable for what you are getting here. However, at the time of me writing this the price had literally skyrocketed to $102.19 and more!. I can only assume this is because it was currently out of stock with the original seller and only third party listings remained? In any event, what follows is my review for this robot toy...This "Mibido" Robot Toy is a very cool item. This is not just a remote control toy. Well, it is actually that in the end, but the process in getting to that point is very challenging and fun and will occupy kids for hours and hours along the way while making it. I feel that the ideal age for this is maybe 10 years and above. The reason being is that it's a little complex and I feel that younger kids (8 or even 9) might not have the overall patience and skill to commit to this as it will definitely take hours to get all bits properly put together. In my opinion, I don't feel that this item would be suitable for 7 or under as the listing suggests. This set comes in a colourful, printed retail style packaging. Your kids eyes will probably light up before the box has even been opened and the nice presentation alone makes it a very giftable. Opening the box reveals lots of small pieces! almost to the point of even being a bit overwhelming. There are approx. 434 pieces altogether. So, to again clarify, this is definitely NOT something for very small children and some of these pieces would in fact be a possible choking hazard for very small kids. If you are thinking of this for younger kids, I feel this should only be given to them with adult help supervision in my personal opinion. One big plus is that NO glue is required at all in this toy's construction. All the pieces are designed to click and interlock together and a detailed set of instructions are provided. This is a great sort of model building kit that you can share with your kids as a bonding experience and that sharing could overcome any issues with some of the initial complexity for younger children. I think even older kids or young teens can have a lot of fun with this. I enjoyed it myself! hahaI should also get the Elephant in the room out of the way.. This toy is most certainly reminiscent of a certain famous little yellow space robot in a blockbuster Disney movie. Just to the clear, this toy is NOT that robot, but you can clearly see a resemblance which is probably intended. In any event, it is super cute.. if Robot's can be cute? haha.. The kids luv it.Overall, I am impressed with the general quality of this product. This is not just a "toy" as the whole experience is more like a very detailed model building kit along with a sort of science project in one. Th added benefits are that it will teach some skills to your kids along the way and provide them with hours of fun in the making of it all. And, at the end, they will have the added satisfaction of being able to bring the robot to life and watch it move and go while they control with a remote or a BT App.Now, I am going to briefly touch on this App. I'm always nervous about downloading these third party things and it may even possibly be a bit sketchy. Thankfully, you can actually do without the App altogether and simply make use of the included hand held remote for the control functionality. It works just fine and I would say you may can avoid the App as it is not absolutely necessary to even use it. The choice is yours. While I really do like this concept, I have to say I feel the current listing price of $102.99 is just far to much for what you are getting here when comparing with other sort of similar products out there on Amazon. However, when I consider the hours of enjoyment the oveall experiene will provide, if you can still manage to get this at the original price of $52.99, I feel that price is directly in line with the value and quality of the product and very reasonable for the experience it will provide. At the original listing price of $52.99, I would rate this toy at a solid 4 out of 5. At double that price, I would avoid it.

Decent 3in1 robot kit for kids, great to keep kids interested and engaged about STEM, suspicious App
This is an overall decent robot STEM toy for kids and an easy and great way to keep them engaged about STEM or the alike. The instructions are for the most part easy to follow. All (or at least the vast majority) of the parts and components appear well made without sharp or pointy edges etc.The overall quality is close to that of Legos or the alike. The details for these toys are pretty decent as well in comparison to some others that I've seen. Keep in mind that most of these educational toys work BEST (if needed) with the guidance of parents as it's often not the final products that matter but the processes and the experiences.Unfortunately, the App is one of the worst that I've seen as it requires the following permissions on your phone (or even your kid's Android device) which makes absolutely no sense to me and I can only conclude that it has ulterior motives. Why on earth would they want anyone track the whereabouts of my kids (is that even legal?) or able to identify the person?✘ Note that the QR code redirects you to some fishy URL probably in China and if you must, I'd suggest that you get the App from official Apple App store.✘ WARNING: this app is NOT available on official Google App store (or at least I can't find it). I'd suggest you skip the App altogether at this point.###This app (iM.Master) requires access to:≡ Location* approximate location (network-based)* precise location (GPS and network-based)≡ Phone* read phone status and identity≡ Photos/Media/Files* access USB storage filesystem* read the contents of your USB storage* modify or delete the contents of your USB storage≡ Storage* read the contents of your USB storage* modify or delete the contents of your USB storage≡ Microphone* record audio≡ Wi-Fi connection information* view Wi-Fi connections≡ Device ID & call information* read phone status and identity≡ Other* view network connections* pair with Bluetooth devices* access Bluetooth settings* full network access* prevent device from sleeping* modify system settings###Luckily, the App isn't strictly required; however, without it there wouldn't be any opportunity for them to learn about 'programming' (i.e. procedural planning) so that's a shame. The included remote however crude does work and is sufficient for the most part. This would've been a much better STEM toy for kids if not for the blatant and despicable attempts at obtaining private personal information. App isn't strictly required and the included remote control does work albeit lacks certain features. As such, it's somewhat reasonably priced at $53.

Cute Robot...Fun Build! Skip The App!
Quick Review:So this is actually quite cute, and very fun to build. The set contains 434 pieces, and you can build three different versions of it. I like Wall-E the best! It's essentially a Lego knock off product but is of similar quality. The pieces snap together well.Love that it's rechargeable...I hate buying, replacing, and throwing batteries away. The included remote is pretty basic but does work alright. Can be APP controlled however the permissions required are absolutely absurd!Overall it's very cute, a lot of fun to build, and I really don't have any other complaints other than the APP.
