Kent Shaving Soap in Dark Oak Wooden Bowl SB3 Hair Removal Products

Smells fantastic, and provides a very creamy lather which lasts. The soap has probably saved me tonnes rather than buying shaving foam, purchased this soap months ago and still have plenty left to see me through the year.

Amazing stuff! It appears to be identical to Mitchell's Wool Fat (not used it but heard good things). I've seen people report issues with getting this to lather but I've had no such issue. I live in a soft water area, so that's likely to be why it lathers so easily for me (literally in 10 seconds the brush is loaded). I've been using a cream for a while, which I've enjoyed, but this is a huge step up! The lather was so much easier to achieve (no having to judge the water to cream ratio), a good deal slicker than the cream I've been using and a million miles better than the aerosol can stuff. The oak bowl is great for lathering in and the lid can be secured with an elastic band for travel (easier than having a separate lathering bowl and tub of cream). The whole package is of very high quality and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I've purchased a lot of shaving soaps in the last 12 months and have had a few of them on the go at once; making comparison easy. Of, say, a dozen different soaps this one would class as average. Not brilliant, but not terrible either. The little wooden box was not great for working up a foam - although I found the soap to be not particularly foamy at the best of times - however it has made a nice little trinket box. Whether the after-life use for the box is worth the extra paid in the first place, well, I'm not to sure.

Bought it for the husband as a gift and the husband loves it!He was using the cream stuff for a while, which was nice and soft on the face however doesn't last very long—of less than a month. Read reviews recommended this, ordered it with the bowl. Came in very quickly with a nice scent. So far used it a couple of months, barely made a dent on the soap—it will last for a long time.Highly recommend it!
