Great sound for the price, just that the on/off switch being on the bottom was a little confusing. But does the trick for my work radio.

Cd player did not work. It seemed to quit working everytime I would adjust the volume. Returned it. Not happy at all.

I bought this to replace an older model that had suddenly developed a squeak in the CD spindle. It has great sound for it's size and price, but please note that it does NOT have a cassette tape player. So if you have vintage tapes you want to hear, you'll need to look elsewhere.

This is a good product overall but a couple of reasons keep it from being great.First, there's a button to go to next programmed station but there's no button to go to previous programmed station.Second, the tuner is weak. I put in a larger antenna but the radio still can't pull in all the stations that my old radio could.

Pretty nice little unit for the price, everything I have checked seems to work OK.That being said I do have a few minor issues with this unit.1. When I unpacked the unit and plugged it in I could not get it to work and was ready to send it back as defective until I stumbled upon the on off switch on the bottom next to the battery box. I guess it is labeled in the booklet, but hey, I'm a guy and that's the last resort.2. Finding a radio station is a real pain. The search function looks for the strongest signal and stops for about one second and then moves on to the next strong signal so trying to get a certain station can be a challenge but I did accidently figure out that using the forward and reverse keys you can manually work through the frequency range to find the channel you want. The instructions for this are not clear which is an issue with most of the instructions in the manual.3. This is the biggest issue. I got the radio with the Real tree camo pattern and the white letters and symbols on the buttons are nearly impossible to make out unless you are in bright light with the radio tilted at the right angle. I wish I had gotten the black and red model instead.4. I guess that I would have liked to see some screening over the mylar speakers. I am very careful with everything I own but I think it would be very easy for one of the speakers to get damaged.

Nice radio. Ease of use. Nice and Functionality. Ideal for gift.

At full volume it wasn't very loud.
