Festool 499622 Systainer SYS Mini TL Storage Case, White,green,grey

I was expecting it to be a little larger than came but again it's super sturdy and great built quality perfect for small items like screw drivers filling blades and anything you would probally loose on site.

You may be tempted to look at this and think it's expensive, but it's built like a tank and worth every penny. For starters the casters are all German made heavy duty ball race jobs and you can pile as many fully laden systainers on top as you want without it blinking an eyelid. It just copes whatever you throw at it, including over weight tradesmen skating around warehouses on them (not recommended)I've purchased several of these and have one at the base of every systainer stack I own. It makes life very simple in the workshop when all my tools and fixings can be smoothly moved around the floor with no effort. It really does revolutionize how I work, and makes the space easy to reconfigure. This is a real boon when space is limited, and saves a great deal of time and effort. In the past I would not have bothered moving kit due to the massive effort involved, but the ability to wheel it around opens up previously unusable space.Your systainers clip securely to the cart and high stacks are actually made more stable, due to the slightly wider footprint. The cart is made from VERY tough high impact plastic, of the same type used for systainers but thicker. The wheels have a handly foot operated brake that can be applied when required, to prevent to stack moving. Incidentally, this cart will also accommodate the Metabo Metabox storage system which is also made by Tanos in Germany just like the Festool boxes. I find them slightly better for storing power tools due to the metal catches and extra handles. They mate with both this cart and all the Festool Systainers.

I bought a few of these but wasn't sure what i would put in them. Then i found 12v tools like Milwaukee die grinder polisher my Bosch 12v router with there spanners alen keys etc fit, great tools that i don't use every day. My original pan was to keep all my consumables like router bits sanding, polishing pads etc in one place with that toll but i have 240v versions which use the same consumables router bits etc so i would have to drag out numerous boxes ie 12v router to get at bits that i can use on my 12v router. So basically what i did was built up a festool larger box with sanding polishing router bits etc an keep the actual tool in the smaller box. This way i can take one box with everything i need consumables and jus grab the box with the 12v tool i need at that time

I've been looking for a small toolbox like this for a while, and this doesnt disappoint at all. It's small, sturdy and is the perfect size for smaller tools.I grabbed it while it was on sale and its a fantastic purchase, highly recommended.

Bought this for my nephew to keep is modelling tools in good quality starter box ,I know it’s a mini one wonder if it can be stacked like the larger festool boxes , would make ideal small fishing float and hook box or sewing box ,latch is good and keeps lid secure
