NBA 2K13 (Xbox 360)

I purchased this game this week; I had NBA 2K12 but sold it along with my old 360 some time ago. This game is worth the money just for the MyPlayer and MyCareer mode, this mode in particular has come on leaps and bounds from last year. It's frustrating at the start as it's difficult to get your player a good teammate/match rating with limited minutes from the bench and a limited array of skills. I remember this feeling well from last year's game and know that perseverence pays off! It doesn't take long for that average teammate grade to start climbing as your player becomes better, and you soon outscore many of the starters from the bench. One tweak I would like to see is in the drills - you earn points to put towards your player's attribute gains, but if I perform well in a drill I would like to see those attributes go up without the need for me to spend the points.I have spent probably 95% of my time on the game in the MyCareer mode, I had a look at MyTeam but it doesn't seem anywhere near as good as the EA Sports Ultimate Team versions seen in FIFA and Madden. I have also played a few games in 'The Association' game mode - this is solid and a very good game mode that I'm sure I will get into as I play on.All in all I'm loving this game and can see most of my free time over the next few months being spent on it!! As a note - I don't really follow the NBA (i.e. most of the trades since NBA 2k12 I only found out about through purchasing this game - and if someone said Nets to me I'd have said New Jersey), although I am a sports nut. I still enjoy this game very much even without knowing some of the names I'm up against.

I have been a NBA 2k owner starting from 2K11, so I have a bit of history with this NBA title.I loved 2K11 but was not so keen on 2K12 because I felt it was a backward step and not as enjoyable as 2k11, I put the blame for this directly down to cheating and out of sink animation speeds.We have all been there with 2K12, players blocking shots without even facing the correct way, the computer preforming spin moves and fakes that are impossible to keep up with, I could go no forever.Thankfully I can say after six hours continuous play this has been sorted out! everything moves smooth as silk and all seems very realistic, gone are the days when six foot point guards are able to stop Dwight Howard getting to the rim.All the players preform as you would expect, if you get close to the rim with Dwight Howard you get a hard through down, with Wade you get a reverse layup all very true to life.Shooting is same old same old if your open you will score if not you will miss.The good thing is in 2K12 the computer managed to become open from 3 point land way to often; with some very poor marker attempting to block the shot from five meters away, them days are gone! the marking is very sound and your team sticks to the task very well.In summary this game is the real deal! players doing what they should be doing, top players preforming top plays and hitting big shots.Its simple if you like the NBA you like this game! The case the game comes in is highly poor, there is bad damage to the case, I don't know myself how someone has actually made that much damage to a case, very stupid and weird.The game it's self is fine, if you can deal with a bad case then I recommend the game. For £3.53, I suppose that's what you get.

Great game! Great graphics, fairly easy controls and the career mode doesn't get boring like it can do with games like this. It's got everything you'd want from an NBA game and as usual NBA2K have delivered! Bring on NBA 2K14!!

What have they done to the 2K NBA games!!! This is a totally utter disappointment, ugh all the stupid J-Z crap and horrible menu, hopefully with NBA Live coming back 2K will start making some changed to their NBA games!

Lots to do on this game and would defo recommend it ! Great online and the career is hard but feels so good when you master it and win a NBA championship with your character.

I Love this Game! I Got the All-Star Content as promised which Has Great Game Modes, Improved Graphics and Gameplay with REAL Signature Moves added One's that Impressed Me were Kobe's Dribbiling and Metta's 3 Point Shot With Kevin Durant Looking Impressive Too. Overall Great Improvements to the Game such as MyPlayer and Many More Also a Great Selection of Songs From Jay Z Kanye West Nas & Coldplay, 10/10 from Me Simply Amazing
