Asmodee 200098 "Ticket to ride: Europe" Boardgame - German Version

I heard about this game on our local radio. It seems a bit complicated hen you read the rules but is quite straight forward. We did a dummy run and had open cards the first time we played. After about three games you learn how to play the game to your advantage. It is really good and not too long. It is for only five players max but we teamed up and it was still great.Would highly recommend. Good seller came next day no problems.

TTR NY is a short play version of what has become a modern board gaming classic. The full ticket to ride can take up to an hour to play this mini version is around 20mins. Having played both USA and Europe versions of the game I wasn’t sure why this was needed. Then we played it. This is a perfect version to play with kids, it’s simple and the scoring is at the end of the game, and it’s quick at around 20mins. This is perfect to teach new players how to play. It’s quite compact you do not need too much space and even comes with a pencil and score pad. Nice that it’s up to 4 players but is still great with 2 players.

New York is a great introduction for those new to the "Ticket to Ride" series of games. For those who already know Ticket to Ride Europe (and serious adult game-players) it may seem a bit too simple, but it has the advantage of being quick to play (10 to 15 minutes) and the smaller board is ideal for train tables making it perfect to play with the children (or grandchildren) on long rail journeys. This is a complete set (not an extension) so comes complete with all playing pieces and cards required. Start the youngsters on this and whet their appetities for the "proper" versions.

If you're looking for a quick 15 minute board game then this is a great addition to your board gaming arsenal. Easy to learn so you can pick this up and have a game going with someone in five minutes. Definitely left me hankering for the long form Ticket to Ride, so if you want something to introduce a reluctant participant to the world of board games, someone who usually worries about the amount of time it takes to learn a new game, then this might be a great gateway drug!

Love playing this game! One of my favourites and was so happy to be able to play with my parents, with little difficulty and much enjoyment! Even though the instructions in the box are in German, it was super easy to find an English version online and print it off. The board and cards are not in German, so don't worry!

A little smaller than expected , however a very rewarding version of the original game with a few tweaks for this more travel sized version - plays in about 10-15 mins and replayability as good - while not as in-depth a game as ticket to ride itself it certainly a decent add to a collection, family friendly and very quick to pick up the rules.

I have a number of the tiny TTR games. This is probably the simplest of them. I've not been to NY but my partner has and he enjoys the theme and landmarks. Same game structure as the larger TTRs but in mini size and time. Very quick game. You need to be sharp from the off. V accessible game. Nice components. A step away from the full game but a good intro to TTR world.

This is a nice, quick game which uses the same dynamics as the regular Ticket to Ride games. It's fun to try and make routes through New York to various tourist spots, and very tricky and frustrating if you play with the maximum 4 players. A game can be completed in 20 minutes or so, and it's good for younger players as it's quite simple to play.

È stato un autoregalo di compleanno, fatto qualche anno fa come incentivo al riprendere il gioco dopo la nascita della mia bimba. Tra l'altro anche per lei sarà divertente costruire le tratte ferroviarie con tutti i vagoncini.

Really fun game. Easy to learn and quick to play, which makes it perfect for family nights or when you don’t have time for a long board game. Compact version of Ticket to Ride but still has the same strategy and excitement. Everyone enjoys it.

Wir lieben Zug um Zug. Wir haben die großen USA, Europa, Deutschland und Skandinavien Varianten. Alle 4 haben ihren eigenen Reiz und jedes Familienmitglied (2 Erwachsene und 3 Töchter im Alter von 11 -16 Jahren) hat seine Lieblingsversion. Eigentlich hatte ich beschlossen, dass wir nicht noch weitere Editionen brauchen. Doch dann kam die kleine Berlin Variante heraus. Da wir gerade in Berlin gewesen waren, kam ich in Versuchung und habe das Spiel bestellt. Ich muss sagen, ich bin froh, dass ich es uns gegönnt habe. Es ist ein tolles Spiel für den Urlaub. Oder aber für den Nachmittag, an dem keine Zeit für eine lange Runde Zug um Zug bleibt. Es füllt damit exakt eine Nische und macht dadurch wirklich Sinn für Fans des Spiels. Einsteigern, die gern auch lange Spiele spielen, würde ich wegen des doch geringen Preisunterschiedes eher zu einer großen Variante als Einstieg raten. Da bieten sich Deutschland und die USA an, die nicht über die Basisregeln hinausgehen, wie z.B. bei Skandinavien und Europa, die etwas komplexer sind. Einsteiger mit kleineren Kindern ab 8 mit begrenzter Geduld finden mit einer kleinen Städte-Variante einen guten Einstieg, wobei ich in dem Fall nicht unbedingt Berlin empfehlen würde, sondern eher London oder San Francisco. Dazu später mehr!!! Beim großen Spiel sollte man mindestens 60 Minuten einplanen, wenn man gemütlich spielen will. Die kleine Variante dauert ca. 30 Minuten bei uns. Die Regeln sind denkbar einfach. Neueinsteiger brauchen maximal 10 Minuten zum Durchlesen und Verstehen und haben dann die Regeln so gut drauf, dass sie direkt losspielen können und die Anleitung während des Spieles auch nicht mehr brauchen. Das finde ich echt super, denn ich empfinde es als extrem nervig, wenn während des Spiels gefühlt bei jedem zweiten Zug erst nachgeschlagen werden muss, ob und wie genau man was tun darf. Wer schon mindestens ein Zug um Zug zu Hause hat, überfliegt die Anleitung in 1 Minute und spielt sofort los. Zum Material: Das Spielbrett ist aufgeklappt 3x so lang wie der Karton und genau so breit wie der Karton. Also im Vergleich zu den großen Editionen deutlich kleiner und platzsparend, aber von gleich guter, robuster Qualität. Die "Züge" sind hier 11 Straßenbahnen und 5 U-Bahnen pro Person und sind deutlich weniger als beim großen Spiel. Auch hier ist die Größe und Qualität aber vergleichbar. Der Holz-Marker zum Abtragen der Punkte ist der Gleiche wie im großen Spiel. Die Karten haben eine Leinenprägung und sind von guter Qualität. Sie sind in etwa halb so groß wie Standard-Spielkarten. Wer die USA- Variante zu Hause hat, der kennt die Größe, denn im Ur-Spiel sind die Karten ebenfalls in diesem kleinen Format vorhanden. Ich finde sie ausreichend groß. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Spielkartoneinsatz, in den alle Materialien wunderbar einsortiert werden können. Ich verstehe da das Argument der Umweltverträglichkeit nicht wirklich, den Kartoneinsatz weg zu lassen. Ja er ist aus Kunststoff, ABER er ist ja keine Einmalverpackung, die nach dem Auspacken weggeworfen wird, sondern bleibt viele, viele Jahre als Teil des Spieles in Benutzung. Da gibt es in der Obst- und Gemüse-Abteilung im Supermarkt ganz andere Umweltsünden!!! Spielgefühl: Die Strecken sind kürzer als in den großen Editionen, aber schön dicht beeinander, so dass man sich, wie das Spiel es ja auch erreichen möchte, wunderbar in die Quere kommt beim Streckenbauen. Das Spiel fühlt sich gleich an wie die großenVarianten, dauert nur weniger lang. Die Berlin-Variante ist die einzige kleine Städte-Variante, in der es zwei Arten von Zügen gibt, für die etwas andere Regeln gelten. Somit ist sie die komplexeste kleine Städte-Variante. Für jüngere Spieler würde ich daher zum Einstieg vielleicht eher London oder San Francisco vorschlagen. Insgesamt ist die Regelabweichung kein großes Ding. Sie macht nur die Strategie des Streckenbaus etwas komplexer, denn man muss schon gut planen, um auch mit den doch recht wenigen U-Bahnen trotzdem ins Ziel zu kommen. Insgesamt kann ich die Berlin-Variante wärmstens empfehlen!!!
