Surrealistic insane humor
Get Fuzzy remains my favorite strip of all time. Bucky Katt is an insane genius. Well, he's insane anyway. And brilliantly funny.

Get 'Get Fuzzy' It's Good Stuff!
Probably the most enjoyable comic strip to see syndication in a long time. Quirky, silly, fun and with a little bite not to mention the drawing style, 'Get Fuzzy' is its own little world. I tend to hear the characters voices when I look at the strips instead of just seeing neat drawings with word balloons and punchlines and the concept would easily translate to television or the big screen. The characters practically talk in their own language and we're taken along for the ride even though the strip barely ever leaves the same apartment. The art drew me in first. I haven't seen a strip that looks like this in the papers before. The drawing style and offbeat tone of the strip are perfect together. I just wish I could find out what Conley draws the strip with! I've searched all over and there's nothing out there that talks about the tools he uses. 'Get Fuzzy' is good stuff.

DRM and poor formatting drop this from a 5/5 to 3/5.
Get Fuzzy is one of my favorite cartoons of all time up there with Calvin & Hobbes. The author Darby Conley is right up there with Bill Watterson in genius in my opinion. I absolutely love Satchel and Bucky and Rob.This book is no different, It’s from around 2007-2008 time frame. I absolutely loved this book and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. However its translation to a digital format leaves it lacking. I had to force it to landscape mode on my kindle otherwise it was quite small to read. And even then on some of the pages (most likely the Sunday comic) there was too many frames on screen which made the text quite small to read. I had to take off my glasses and hold it up to my nose to read it properly. I don’t understand why they can’t fix it like the comic books from Comixology where it is formatted specifically to be read easily on a e-device.Also the comic has DRM which is very disappointing. So with those two negatives against it, it takes a 5/5 book down to a 3/5.

Fun as ever
If you're looking at this book, you probably are already familiar with the fact that it is one of the funniest things out there that kids and adults can both enjoy. And you probably are familiar with Bucky Kat, the paranoid unfriendly Siamese cat who entertains and tortures his hapless owner. This treasurey ofGet Fuzzy is funny as individual strips, but it is even funnier to read all the comics at one time as a story. The ink is bright, crisp, and vivid, which makes it better than newspaper or reading the comics online. I recommend the treasureies because I enjoy owning one larger book rather than several smaller ones. I did make the mistake of buying several smaller ones at the same time. From their titles, you'd never know they were the same comics as this one large book. No problem, my kids fought over these books on Christmas Day, so having extras worked out fine.

My kids took my book away from me
First of all, I ordered this book for me. However, when it arrived, there was mad dash and grab for the book and I lost. I am now third in line to read it. But it's great to hear the kids cackling out loud and they share bits with me now and then. Darby Conley is a genius and I hope he stays around for many years.

While Conley's art work continues to be some of the finest in the comic kingdom
I started out loving "Get Fuzzy", but my affection has faded over time. While Conley's art work continues to be some of the finest in the comic kingdom, I find that his writing is starting to falter, and his jokes are becoming self-serving. I am genuinly sorry to say that.
