Does this work with Cadbury Cream Eggs?

i'm being a bit thick here, but I can't get this thing to work at all. How do you use it? it says to place it on top of thye egg and pull the stem up. but nothing happens at all thanks

It works most times. I pull the stem up and let it drop a couple of times then lift off and hopefully the top of the egg comes away.

Hi, it comes in a box, yes, but if I remember, the ‘instructions’ is just a drawing. Unless you watch on YouTube you probably wouldn’t realise that you need to place the topper on the narrow upright end of the egg and pull back on the ball firmly, so it springs back on the shell. Usually twice to get a good clean break as it works by vibration. I found it worked well, but have only used it to crack open raw eggs ready for baking. Hope that helps.
