Very impressed with these and bought after reading the other reviews, previously I have tried one of the green plastic roll out ones but it was too narrow and flimsy and didnt seem very slip proof also the clips came out (not bought from amazon)These were easy to push together and I was able to cover an awkward area ie narrow pathway which was raised and partially paved in parts and grassy and or concreted (uneven) in parts all of which were mudddy from recent downpours making it virtually lethal to try to get to that part of the garden.....The day after putting them down there was another downpour and I am happy to say the tiles remained in place albeit now very muddy however were still stable, secure and remained slip proof...I will be buying a further set for another high traffic part of the lawn which is also partially swampy in order to improve secure footing there....Brilliant product at a fair price and fast delivery also :)

My little one was given a toddler slide as a birthday present, but we have a paved yard, so I was worried about accidents.These play mats are great - they look and feel very durable, and feel slightly springy under foot like a very dense foam. The little one hasn't fallen off the slide yet, so I don't have proof of their effectiveness, but they definitely make me feel a lot better with them down around it.What's not clear from the picture is that they do have those jigsaw edges on all 4 sides - the two that look smooth have a removable edging to them, so it is possible to connect the mats in a variety of ways, not just a big square.They are a bit pricey, but I'd rather have the security in knowing they're thick enough to prevent any nasty accidents on concrete.

No, didn't buy this for the kids but for the chicks - with seven hens happily scratching up the grass i needed some easy to use, very resonably priced lawn protection fast! If anyone reading this has some free-rangers currently free-ranging at the cost of turning your lawn to mud, I would recommend it. It is as light as feather (no pun intended!) can be pieced together to cover any area: ie you don't have to lay it square, it seems to be hen proof in that they totally ignore it rather than peck it to death or try to scratch it up looking for worms and can washed clean within minutes. I have secured it with two ordinary tent pegs to prevent it being blown away and so far it's working well. Hopefully by the Spring i will still have a lawn in front of the coup where there is a lot of inning and outing as the grass will be given a chance to grow through the holes. It's made from similar stuff to Crocs (or their cheaper cousins) so is pretty durable.

I've had these mats down for two years but in a paler colour. They are great on my old concrete slabs and make it a pleasure to walk on in the summer. Easy to clean too. Delivery prompt and courteous.

V easy to use, ideal cover for messy patio area. Haven't had long enough to know durability but seem really good value.

Use them for a path along our motorhome. Good quality. Lovely and soft on your feet. In windy weather you do need to pin them down if you are on grass. My only criticism is that the edges provided didn't fit around when we constructed a long path with the tiles. Not really important.

These were just what we were looking for to use around our play set. Have seen wind, rain and shine, and have held up well - the wind has caught them a couple of times, but some well placed tent pegs has solved that.
