Yoga Tune UpQuickfix Rx Kneehab DVD

This works
I was diagnosed with a chondral defect to my knee last summer, with a large piece of cartilage missing on my femur. I have previously been very active, lifting weights and exercising several times a week. The surgeon of course recommended microfracture surgery (what else would a surgeon do?!) but to date (8 months later) I have worked at my own recovery using the exercises and stretches on this DVD on an almost daily basis. My injury is permanent with the surgery (which isn't guaranteed to work at all and has a long rehab period). However, I have managed to rehabilitate to a degree I am happy with just by doing these massages/stretches/exercises and working within my limitations at the gym. My knee still occasionally causes problems and I find that doing the exercises provides almost immediate relief.I cannot recommend this highly enough, although my view is it's well suited to active people who have a fair bit of knowledge and experience of the benefits of massage and yoga-based therapy. A positive side effect of doing this programme is that my hamstrings and hips are now more flexible than they have been for decades (I am 54).

An absolute must have for anyone and everyone who has use of their legs whether sports mad or not
10 stars. This is really the business and every one who does any kind of exercises should own this. Even professionals should check this out and by professionals i mean physiotherapists, orthopaedic knee injury specialists, gait analysts etc as well as pros in sport. Although it's called kneehabilitation it is NOT just for injuries, it's also for PREVENTION of them as well. There are 4 sections and a knee anatomy explanation section as well. The 4 sections are individual and start by losening tightness to warm the muscles by rolling them with her tune up balls and Jill clearly shows and demonstrates where to place them and how to use them. After that there is kneehab 1 kneehab 2 which are the holy grail. There is then an advanced section which is section 3 and which is really for the serious athlete or teacher or professional. You are recommended to start with kneehab 1 (and would be very foolish to do otherwise) and then you work through all 3 in turn, in sequence mastering each one before moving on to the next level. There are exercises which will show you when you are ready for this. As well as the balls (and you best benefit from having 2 of them) you also need an ordinary chair, a stretch band and a towel. The exercises are fantastic and the results are so quick. I could not believe how quickly my muscles responded and what a difference it has made to my Pilates and stretching. It takes just 5 maybe 10 minutes to do kneehab1, the same for kneehab 2. I use this daily before any exercise now. Do yourself and your body a huge favour and invest in this, it may even save you from future surgery and sports ending injury which to me makes it essential viewing and every day essential use.
