Had them sitting for a week or 2 while waiting for my 2 new tarantula slings. 3 days later, after housing one in each, the enclosures started warping. The lids will not slide closed properly, and they are hard to open. This will make a tarantula escape easier being that I have to feed and water these guys several times a week.Edit...Seller reached out and offered a full refund, plus sent an updated version. Which is a lot sturdier. Great customer service.

Update: I bought two more and got the new and improved versions. I love love love them. The new design doesn’t bow as bad as my other two.The enclosure was thick acrylic and sturdy. I love the look of it.

I was super excited when I unboxed this enclosure. It looked really well made, and the magnets are super strong. However, in less than a week, the enclosure is so warped that I can't even get the lid to slide close?! I've never had this happen before with any other brand. I have no idea what could have caused it, but after reading more reviews, it looks like this is a common issue with this brand. It hasn't been exposed to high temps or sunlight, just kept at a normal room temperature. What a waste of money :(Update: The seller sent me another enclosure, and once again, the sides warped within a few days. They must have a QC issue that they haven't yet fixed. I'd steer clear of these enclosures.

I bought 2 of these for my Tarantulas, the acrylic is a little to thin and weak , when you add substrate it tends to bow out the longer sides, which in turn causes the lid to jam and be hard to slide closed,which can be a problem when dealing with a fast Tarantula. With that being said,I do like the design, the two magnetic latches are great and there seems to be plenty of ventilation, if the acrylic was a little thicker they'd be perfect.

I bought this enclose for my brachypelma hamuri who is currently 1.5 inches. Obviously this enclosure is temporary but it’s perfect for him now. The holes allow him to breathe and it closes securely disallowing him to escape. My only issue is that when opening and closing the lid, he jolts off but that’s a tarantula for ya. Otherwise I love the magnets and this works perfectly for any insect. It arrived clean, unused, in plastic wrap with no cracks or imperfections. I would definitely recommend this product and seller.

This is a pretty decent starter enclosure for a 1-2 inch tarantula of you are getting started and don't want to purchase a more expensive enclosure and don't have the tools to drill holes into an acrylic box. But it does warp over time. I have a juvenile grammostola pulchra in this one, they do not require a lot of humidity, yet after just a couple of months it has warped to the point that it's difficult for the top to slide anymore. Doable, and still attractive, which is why I didn't give this review less than a 3 ⭐, but still awkward and jarring for the spider. So if coat is prohibitive to buy a higher quality enclosure, u really would be better off purchasing an acrylic box designed for collectables and drilling size appropriate holes in it. That's what I'll be doing for my juveniles in the future.

I bought these to keep dubia roaches and wax worms for our leopard gecko. They work great. Also, it holds our leopard gecko perfectly when we need to weigh him. I bought them mostly because the are low in height and would fit in the drawer under the side table we have. I love that they magnetize when fully closed. You can tell you have put the lid on correctly and it holds tight too.
