Wera '05003265001 95 Vario T-handle, 6 x 56 mm

This Wera Vario handle is designed to ONLY accept the Vario range of products I.e. 6mm sized hex bits. You can NOT use the common 1/4 inch size hex bits direct in this tool, without a sold separately Vario adaptor E.g. Wera 05051835001 Vario 830 Bit-holding Adaptor.This is somewhat confusing as it's not exactly clear in the product description here or even on the Wera website. Especially when you consider 1/4 inch = 6.35mm! So is almost indistinguishable to the eye.Seems to me that Wera are playing at what other big (possibly fruit based) manufacturers get up to, by employing a bespoke setup that's not exactly made clear until you've been parted with your hard earned.So, 5 stars for the usual Wera build quality, 1 star for the lack of product description clarity = 3 star review.

Not what I thought it was going to be. I thought I was just going to be able to insert any 6mm hex bit into it. Wrong.Opening is round not hex. Just inside is an expandable collar which is impossible to get past with my hex bit extender. This supposedly grips the hex tool as it is inserted - what is wrong with magnetism? The hex-shaped hole below this extends all the way into the handle so you'll need an extender to hold any hex bits.

Typical wera quality I just can’t seem to get anything to fit it from the maintenance kit, tool check plus or any of my other wera gear. Must need a special adapter I’m yet to find

I have just opened this in the post today and can't get any of my screwdriver bits to fit the handle. Totally useless. will be returning it tomorrow. Very disappointed.

Very comfy, sturdy and useful. Bought for photography for book 3 in my EDC series but I will be keeping hold of it.

This is not for 1/4 inch. The extenders shown as recently bought together will not fit this handle. Very disappointing for a Wera product.

The hex bit that takes the bit didn't fit any bits. It was if the spring/locking part was out of shape. Returned.
