Easy to use extremely well-made, fantastic tool
Does an excellent job of crimping power poles to various side cables makes the task so much easier

Wish I had bought these from the beginning
For quite a while I just soldered my powerpole connectors, and to be fair I have never had one fail on me yet. These crimpers make the job much easier though, once you learn the limitations. If you try to crimp using too small a wire then you may well find problems but otherwise I've found the process to be very straight forward. A crimped connection ought to be more reliable than a soldered one, but as mentioned earlier so far both ways have been 100% reliable for me despite having been dragged around mountainous environments many times. This crimping tool is cheaper than other alternative one I've seen, and way cheaper than the 'proper' one. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The perfect tool for crimping Anderson Powerpole connectors.
I have been up until now, soldering Powerpole connectors, but to be fair it has been a faff, and could take up to an hour due to final shaping of the finished item so that it can slide into the plastic housing. Then comes along the IWISS tool, wow, wow, wow, absolutely perfect crimp tool, that takes seconds to crimp the Powerpole connectors, I mostly use 30 and 45amp, using 10 awg cable with the 45amp, the tool makes for a perfect crimp every time, far better than soldering that’s for sure.

Good but not great
I bought this crimping tool after reading the reviews of other buyers and I agree with their comments; the tool is well made and easy to use and will no doubt give many years of excellent service if used with the power pole connectors that came with it, but not with genuine Anderson connectors. My experience so far is that it works very well with the power pole connectors supplied with it which are Anderson look-a-likes, but not so well with genuine Anderson power pole crimp connectors. The Anderson power pole connectors don't fit into the crimp guide correctly where they are frequently mashed or do not crimping the connector correctly, it also needs far more effort for this tool to crimp a genuine Anderson joint when compared to the crimps that are supplied with it.Is it a good tool, yes but I've given it 4 stars because it doesn't work well with Anderson Power Pole crimps as suggested in the advertisement. It was my search for a cheaper alternative to the Anderson Power Pole crimping tool that brought me to this page and that's what I got, so the search continues.
