Bought this and the black set from the same seller for myself and hubby as we're doing our best to go zero waste at home. The quality of both sets are superb. Also, the shave is fantastic. I think we've been all conned for many years by the cartridge razor manufacturers. Hubby has taken a couple of times to get the right technique but I have had absolutely no problem shaving my legs without any nicks. Will never go back to cartridge/disposable razors. Have used the same blade for over 2 weeks and still going, and at approx. 6p - 10p a blade, depending on where purchased, the cost of the original set will be covered in no time and the quality is so good I will probably never need to replace the actual razor. Thoroughly recommend this set.

I gave this as a gift for my boyfriend who really seems to hate shaving ​since he only shaves every three days :/However, here is what he says:The brush feels great quality and absorbs the soap well making a nice big foam. The razor was a bit tricky at first as this is a whole new way of shaving.It's all about the angle, short strokes and not applying too much pressure.However, it does give a close shave and the whole shaving experience is far more enjoyable to me than the normal razor I used to use.Loved the look of the product and it looks great on the bathroom shelf. (The small tiny bit allocated to me).

Reallly nice gift for my dad, all good size items, packaged nicely. The soap smells amazing!Only thing I wasn’t keen on personally is the “faux branding” just the company’s attempt to look a bit fancier, I’m just a minimalist! Felt it could have been a little lower price wise, but for what you get still good value

I've purchased this as I wanted to learn how to use a safety razor rather than the more modern day multiple bladed razor.This kit literally has everything you need to start and I have found it to have a good weight, appealing colour and was pleasantly surprised to find extra blades within the set.Very happy with this product, would highly recommend! 5 stars

Collected from local post office. Delivered promptly. My impression of this shaving set is that it looks classy in the ivory colour. Badger brush looks good quality, along with stainless steel soap bowl. Razor is a good weight and it all comes in an attractive black box. I bought it as part of a 50th Birthday gift and I am sure my son-in-law will be delighted with it.

I bought this set for myself and thought it was incredible that you could get everything you need in one set and I didn't have to shop for the individual items. The set arrived and is packaged amazingly, but that is where the compliments end.... The brush has knotted in the centre and refuses to release, the soap is very weak and I can get a better lather from a bar of general bath soap. The razor is hiddeous, when the blades are put in they don't sit right, one edge is straight the other edge has more angle than a slant razor. I have tried mu;tiple different blades in it and they are all the same. The blade cap judders and ended up with it bouncing across my scalp.

The set itself is lovely a great starter wet shaving kit for men. I brought this for my son for Christmas so I cannot comment on how well it works as a shaving set so my feedback is on looks, feel and quality.There is a good weight to both the brush and razor, the badger hair is not the greatest quality however, as a starter set it's good enough. The safety razor has a great heavy weight to it although it appears to be stainless steel coated it's a lovely set. The soap smells lovey and the little dish is handy to have in the set. It came with 5 blades too so everything you need to get started a lovely looking set for the price.I have taken stars off because I was very disappointed in the packaging!Sold as a set like this it's obvious that it is going to be given as a gift in most cases. Each item was wrapped in a firm tissue paper with sellotape around it and each item was in a plastic bag then were all laid on top of foam pieces. This is such a shame as it comes in such a lovely box which gives a look of quality when you see and feel it, and then when you open it, it looks like it's come from a market stall. I am going to re-package the box myself as it is for a gift to make it look better. I know you get what you pay for but a little extra on the packaging would make all the difference as a gift, the luxury look and feel is spoilt by the packaging sadly.
