Works great
Bought these for 2 propane tanks, 1000 gallon and a 500 gallon. The unit on the 1000 gallon tank went on easy and is accurate. My 500 gallon tank has a seam in the center on the bottom of the tank. I bought the seam adapter but could not get a high quality connection or accurate reading. I was able to get a good connection near the end of the tank just past the seam. It is not perfectly level but has a high quality (3 star) connection and is reading the tank correctly. The blue tooth signal on these units is very strong especially when the using the external antenna. The tank without the external antenna is about 200 feet from the house and the other tank with the antenna is about 500 feet and both are able to communicate with the wifi unit.

Works great. Challenging install in some circumstances
SO NICE not to have to venture outside and look at the gauge on the tank! SO NICE!!!Install was a little challenging as it has to go on the bottom of the tank and our vertical tank is on a concrete pad and heavy/fixed to the house (for safety reasons) but I "got it done" with a little brute forceDocumentation is ok...the calibration part of the docs could stand to be clearer but other than that, app is well designed and synced up right away to the monitor. NOTE: This uses Bluetooth to communicate with the monitor, NOT WIFI so you need to be within a reasonable distance (<30 ft) to get a good signal. Not a problem for us inside but those far away tanks will require a trip outside.

Does what it should and very easy installation.
Does what it should and very easy installation. I have a 320 gal horizonal tank. Weld seam on the bottom. Since the sensor was just a little off, I thought that I needed the plastic seam gap accessory to level it up. PS cost more to send it than the plastic piece cost. For the price of this item, it should have been included in the original package. The results of the retro fix was worse than before. Come to find out that my tank wasn't installed correctly and was slightly off center. Removed the accessory and things worked fine. Lesson learned: Check the tank 1st and then proceed with your purchase. This will save you a lot of time. I started ordering first then after trying to level the unit and deciding to order the accessory then having to order more of the dielectric grease from Amazon (4 small tubes very expensive) to install it, I wasted almost 2 weeks to do the job when it should have taken 2 day to get everything I needed and 15 minutes to install it. You learn something new every day. Finally it works and does a great job. Expensive but let's see how long it last.

Not accurate or doesn’t work
Everything installed fine. It just doesn’t report anything close to being accurate. I have a horizontal 320 gal tank with welding seam down the center. At first I just butted the center up against seam. I was getting a reading of 55% when the primary gauge showed 75%. I figured it just needed the special adapter to accommodate the seam. I installed the adaptor with plenty of sonic grease, calibrated on center and now it says tank is empty. 🤷♂️

Amazing product for accurate and remote propane tank monitoring!
We love this little ultrasonic transducer and software. I had to dig snow out from around our horizontal 500 gal tank in 20°F, lay on the ground and wipe clean algae off of our tank for a good install but it was oh so worth it. We now know exactly how much is in our tank at any time from inside the warm house. This small device simply attaches magnetically in a clean spot centered on the bottom of the tank. There is even a built-in leveling tool in the software to help place it in the most accurate location.Ours was just refilled with a prepaid amount. The delivery guy and I were able to watch the software percentage rise as the propane went in. We compared the small, hard the read, gauge on top of the tank with the actual gallons added from the truck meter and this Mopeka was spot on!As long as it holds up in our harsh Wisconsin winters I'll be very happy with the investment. So far, so great! I may add an external antenna at some point for longer range as our cars and snow shorten the range but it still works great from a window inside the house at that. Currently it reads through a 1' snow mound above its height and one vehicle through our kitchen to the dining room at around 50' which is plenty good for us. I'm guessing that more snow and ice would shorten the distance so I'll try adding an inexpensive external antenna before the next snow blocks the signal even more.I don't know of anything else on the market that matches the value of this product and no they haven't given us anything to write this review. This product sells itself! If you can reach your arm under your tank this should work for you also. One last thing I would recommend is placing the unit with the software level to know your location before putting the dielectric grease on and placing in its final spot then clean that area and dry before applying the grease as to not waste the small amount of grease should you need to relocate - or just buy a separate tube of dielectric grease. This device is totally portable and included 2 AAA lithium batteries. We also have an inexpensive standard 5 gal BBQ tank Mopeka monitor. They are both easy to monitor at a glance on one screen. The screenshots are from an android cell phone.Yes, I'd buy them both again if a squirrel decided to take one home!!!
