Streamlight75768 Stinger LED/DS/FC Upgrade Kit Includes Faceap Assembly, Ring, and Switch Assembly

My older Streamlight stopped working. So I ordered this kit to replace it works great. Streamlight’s are the best lights made as far as I’m concerned. Been using them for years never been disappointed great product backed by great people.

The installation was straightforward, and the improved brightness and functionality are impressive.

I work for a LE agency. One of our standard pieces of equipment is the flashlight. I have since taken over the Flashlight tech duties (fancy way of saying I fix the flashlights now). We had a few of the Streamlight Stingers that had been converted to LED. A couple of them had the wrong battery type inserted and blew the switch. I ordered these and they worked brilliantly. the teardown is not simple but not overly complicated either (Youtube...youtube...youtube). I am pleased with this kit. Make sure you read description well as they do not universally fit all Streamlight Stinger models.

I have a stinger ds led and a coil on the pcb came loose and the switch then stopped functioning so I thought I’d just buy this kit and get nice new lens and all. The kit is complete and is an easy swap out but the output of this led compared to it was originally doesn’t even come close. So if you have 425 lumen model this will disappoint you and by time you find out you’ve installed it and can’t return. This would be huge upgrade to a Xeon bulb. I think I’ll take my old led and solder it to this new one and hope the pcb driver board will push it cause it’s much brighter. The lights almost no good for what I use if for now I just purchased a 22 dollar light that’s 3-5x brighter then mine was new. Wish I had my 26 bucks back I’d buy another one.

Bought this for my 20 yr old light. Works great,bright like it was new. Saved from spending on a new light, or wait for replacement. Easy repair if you are handy. Genuine parts from streamlight. Comes with all you need to restore light.

I bought two. They didn’t fit my flashlights, I couldn’t find this out until I opened one. I sent two back and only got refunded for one. What gives?

The faceplate and switch assemblies are well-made and easy to install.

I want anyone reading this to know that, while the description says that this kit is not compatible with C or C4 serial numbers, it IS as long as you’re looking for a rebuild kit (it says not compatible because it isn’t an upgrade but it is a rebuild kit).I bought my first stinger almost 15 years ago (a C4 serial model) and after being dropped numerous times, gotten wet, being thrown around, being run over by numerous cars and trucks, etc. it finally quit on me.This rebuild kit is exactly what I was looking for and brought it back to life. I wasn’t looking for an upgrade as my original light was already LED but this kit had all of the parts necessary for me to be able to gut my old light and rebuild it with all brand new internals for $30 as opposed to spending $150 or more on a new unit.

I accidentally dropped my flashlight while working on the roof and it stopped working.This upgrade kit solved all my problems. Took less than five minutes to upgrade with the new kit. My flashlight is working again, even brighter than before. Cost to upgrade was about 10% of the full replacement cost.Very happy with this kit!
