Q: does this product contain any raw materials or ingreidients from china ?

I believe the product is made in California. It is gluten free and contains no GMOs. I have been using it for about 8 months and it has allowed me to stop all prescription pain killers for my arthritis. My German Shepherd & I were both on the same pain medication for arthritis in our hips. We have both been pain and pain medication free for 8 months.

Q: How long, on average, does it take for this to work on joint pain?

Hello. For me, a couple days. I am not overweight, unsure how well it works if one is. I can walk and work (not do jumping jacks!) I take no other pain meds (or need any). I researched this long ago, found at that time it was studied by NIH, helped 85% of people who used it. Has kept me out of surgery for ten years!! Without it, I can hardly walk. My ortho surgeon (went for eval, my legs are crooked), said most people could not walk with what I have (severe osteoarthritis both knees).

Q: Can these capsules be opened and dissolved in water? I cannot swallow them.

These are capsules or tablets so you wouldn't open them. You might ask someone who uses the soft gel Celadrin. Also, you might consider dissolving the capsules in a small amount of water and try it for a few weeks to see if it is effective. Also, depending on what you are using it for the cream might be an option for you.

Q: is the cellulose listed in "other ingredients" corn based?

I don't know that. You'd have to contact the manufacturer. I wouldn't waste my money-did nothing for me.
