AMAZING USEFUL TOOL !! Love it. Multiple uses.
This is one of the best purchases we have ever made. We use it everyday. Chops as fine, corse, or chunky as you want. Because it’s manual, you have total control. Clean up is a breeze. A quick rinse is all it takes. Never touch the blades as they are SUPER sharp ! But you should never need to touch the blades. They just rinse clean under running faucet. We chopped parsley, onions, zucchini, peppers & garlic for our stuffed peppers. Could never chop so well, so fast by hand. This is very sturdy & durable. Everything we own by OXO is fantastic. Don’t bother with cheap imitation choppers. They break right away & are flimsy. This chopper has never given me any problem. It’s cute & small enough to leave on my counter for quick use.

Nice chopper. Use it all the time.
I bought another one but found that it was not easy to reassemble after cleaning. This one works well. It's easy to clean. I like the fact that the handle locks into place. This makes it hard for little ones to operate and it stores in a shorter shelf. Good quality.

AMAZING AND EFFICIENT PRODUCT
Really a good product, its helps you with chopping the garlic, easier and faster. I dont like buying prechop garlic, i like fresh garlic, and this item is really helpfull and efficient. Worth the money.

well built, many parts but cleans up nice , time will tell
Just arrived today and just finished lunch where I gave it it's trial run/maiden voyage. I have had a few of these and not been impressed. Mostly they were good for walnuts. This oxo one is easy to take apart (there are quite a few parts however) and easy to clean. It seemed to work fine and the honest truth is the main reason I got it was to keep one of my many other electric versions from taking up more counter space in my small senior apt. I don't mind using a knife but I usually make 2 dishes )OMD) that encompass aprox 50 ingredients. Next time I will know better how to stage all I put in it. Update: my model is designed to not be capable of using it without the cup attatched. Very dissappointed in that design though I realize it is for safety reasons. I see from other review that there are several models. I was hoping to use my chopper directly onto one of my bamboo cutting boards. Bummer.

Another OXO win
Excellent, sturdy chopper. Incredibly well designed to come apart easily for cleaning in the dishwasher, and easy to reassemble for use. Very solid, blades are sharp and cut very clean, I like the "sleeve" that clears the blade each time it retracts. I like how the mechanism turns with each pump, making it easy and quick to get small pieces, even faster to get larger pieces. I mostly use it to chop garlic and ginger, but could probably try larger vegetables too. The chamber is big enough to hold a small onion. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper no-name one first that failed on all these points, plus you could not fully disassemble it for cleaning. Water collected in it and rusted the blade and I no longer felt safe using it for food prep. OXO is a reliable brand; I love every product I've gotten from them and they are durable. Definitely recommend.

Best chopper of all! Easy and fun to use, robust and dishwasher safe.
This gadget just works! It will chop just about anything, and is a bit of fun to use. We use it every day, for a variety of things like carrots and onions, and it just gets the job done. It stands up to a lot of serious bashing on the top, and is quick and efficient. If they made a bigger version, I'd but that too!We had another make of chopper, and the plastic broke after just a couple of months...this one is way better. After almost a year of hard use, it's as good as new, and that includes going through the dishwasher several times a week.

Great quality chopper
I have been searching for a good quality chopper, and selected this one because I know that this brand typically produces high-quality items. It did not disappoint super easy to use/clean and effective. Just keep chopping to make your cut smaller if needed.

Does an adequate job
I am not love with this tool, but in certain use cases it can be handy. Like many kitchen gadgets, it gets put away on a shelf, largely forgotten until that one time a year when it gets to shine. The most important things are how well it chops and what it's capable of chopping. It chopped lightweight herbs, like cilantro, very well. Easy peasy. It chopped shelled pistachios too. But it couldn't chop rosemary because it's too tough. It just bruised the heck out of it.So how well does it chop? Meh. You'd always do a better job with a knife by hand, but you knew that. This will chop some bits more finely than you want and leave larger chunks behind too. I shook it after every few chops to try to redistribute my herb bits, but that was still the end result. It is very easy to disassemble and reassemble, which makes cleaning it pretty easy. Except when you are trying to clean it very thoroughly, because it's hard to squeeze a sponge in the crevices of the zig zag blade without slicing yourself. I usually just give it a rinse if I've only chopped a few herbs.Overall, if I am just chopping a few nuts to put in a salad, or if I want cilantro for my guac, I'll use a knife to get the pieces the exact size I want. But if there is a particularly large job, especially one that involves many herbs (some recipes I cook ask for cilantro AND mint AND something else!) then I'd use this bad boy to speed things along.
