Very cute manga, but trigger warnings for suicide!
The following review is for the series as a whole, i.e. both volumes 1 and 2 of the collection. This is a very conflicting review for me because I genuinely enjoyed reading the series. I got the collection edition that came in two parts, and had ordered the second part through Amazon Prime Same-Day Delivery while only halfway through the first because I knew I'd want to just keep reading. However, I think it could perpetuate some dangerous ideas regarding suicide and happiness that the creator did not intend. The story is mostly narrated through the experience of Naho, a shy girl and "mother hen" of her group of friends. On the first day of a new school year, she receives a letter from her future self containing a mission: save Kakeru. The letter details what happens on each day (how does she remember this much detail?) and a to-do list of sorts. Future Naho has regrets and wants Past Naho to address these. Naho is only one of six friends in this group, including Kakeru. I liked how each character was different, but they all were such fierce friends, supporting each other in so many ways. When someone was being picked on, they stood up for that person together. It made me wish I had a group of friends that tight in high school! Taking the mission out of the picture, I actually love the theme of this series: to live life without regrets. Naho is so scared to rock the boat or try new things, and so her future self has so many regrets, like not playing in a game of softball. I'm sure all readers will be able to relate; it's part of being human to think "if only I had...". I did have a few things that I didn't quite like. Three timelines are depicted in this story: present, future, and original present. It did sometimes get confusing which timeline I was reading, but I could usually figure it out after a few panels. What was frustrating is that, while an overview of the idea of parallel universes was explained, it was never fully explained how the letters were sent back to the right time and place. My other niggle was that the ending seemed pretty rushed and simplistic after all the build up. So, all in all, I did really enjoy reading this manga, and I would recommend it to others. However, I think that, if you do read this, you should be careful about not taking the messages to heart TOO much. Understand that you are not responsible for someone else's happiness, as you have no control over their thoughts and emotions.

Such a Good Story
I picked this up as it was quite a well known one and I heard lots of good things about the series. It was so deep and such a beautiful story I love how it was both written and drawn. I knew it was emotional but it really is a good series. I recommend people to read it if you like shojo mangas, this is my first proper Shojo manga and it was worth it :))

Really good manga
I am obsessed with this manga. I watched the anime before order the first volume and didn’t like it that much. However, the manga is amazing. The characters, plot and art are just *chef kiss* Its takes the typical shoujo slice of life manga story and puts a twist to it. I would 100% recommend especially if you liked mangas like blue spring ride

Literally the best manga i've read so far. I love the characters and the story. And there are a lot of twists i really like. I immediately bought the second volume even tho it cost me 30 euros... but it's so worth it! Can't wait to read volume 2!
